I was never aware that i did anything like this although when i mine i usually always most of the time Mine Straight down and if i could plz have some proof it could help a lot because i would like to know how i was lucky the past day and mined in a path and heard a mob grinder spawner so i always check it out thx..

In the first scenario you even tried to cover up the hole to hide it. You mining straight to spawners was not only "straight down." It was also to the side on a few occasions.
