Introduction: Well, if you haven't guessed it all ready from my username my real name is Jackson. I live CT and have your average life. I wake up eat breakfast go to school come home etc. You get what I'm saying. I play Lacrosse in the fall and spring and basketball in the winter. They usually don't conflict with my time on the computer which can range on weekdays from 1 to 5 hours depending on my work load. On my personal channel I try to upload once a week maybe twice sometimes. I've enjoyed meepcraft for quite some time now. I've been on many minecraft servers and always find myself coming back to this one. I turned 14 one the 15th of February and I'm going to be starting high school next year. My friends usually say I have a good natured (<-- Maybe spelling error my apologizes if so) personality and can be pretty humorous forgiving outgoing. Now of course I could rant about how perfect I am but, I can also be pretty stubborn at times as well. I sure hope you've gotten to know as much about me as I can give you in a brief paragraph.

Why should you be on our Media team? Well, first off I've always dreamed of becoming that famous youtuber everybody hears about but of course I'm not. But I still think I could make a positive impact on the server. I'd like to think I'm pretty active and I feel that I would attract a variety of new players to meepcraft.

What is the main platform that player can go and publicly view your content on, and what is your typical content comprised of? Youtube, Timelapses, Cinematic Shots, Slo-Mo, you name it I can probably do it.

The first video had decent shaders and looks nice. However, I think the camera is moving too slow to the music. I think you could of sped up the camera to the speed of the music, and then show small clips of each world, so people can get a taste of what the server is. The second video is a tutorial, and has pretty good quality and all. Over all your skills are decent for the media team. I wouldn't completely say that your videos are on point, (I saw some others) but the pontetial is there.

-1 The videos are in HD and are quality. But that server trailor is just a series of flight coridantas you flew in a /cam start 5m using camera studio or pixel cam. Plus we have bluapol to create amazing content like that.

Also I havn't seen you around and while yes media isn't exactly staff you still do get perks that if used in the wrong hands can be bad for meepcraft and this application seems just a little short. I don't feel I know you a lot, or feel like I grew a connection with you like other accepted staff applicants.

 

The first video -
Shaders looked great but It was so slow moving around and I got bored watching it after around 2 minutes.
The second video -
The tutorial was easy to follow and worked well.
I don't know how much meepcraft needs people in this department but your videos are good so +.6

Looking your videos/channel:
I will say you have some potential, you have the HD to make great videos, but your channel is supper new. You have 7 subscribers(Very low) and only 5 videos; all 5 videos are no more than a month and no more than over 5 views(Except for Agario, which isn't minecraft related). I highly recommend waiting until your subscriber count goes up before applying.

Looking at your app:
Like @fasehed said, your app isn't very long, and doesn't say much about your YouTube channel. Activity on both Teamspeak and in-game is very important (even for a media), and frankly I've never seen you on either. Your app also consists of things like; ("3 years ago give or take", "<--May be spelling errors my apologizes if so") this is very unprofessional and makes you look younger than you actually are. I'd also like to point out that The Question "Have you ever held a media position on another server" is asking if you have ever been a youtube rank on another minecraft server, because your answer seemed a little odd.

Conclusion/vote:
All in all, I'm choosing not to vote because I don't want my vote to be looked at as opinionated because I too have a media app out. Regardless of my vote I wish you the best and good luck!

 

Hey there! I like the quality of your videos (they both look very nice)! For the first video, however you might want to, instead of simply flying around, speed things up a bit and try to record samples of the games you showed us, and make sure that the speed in which you are flying around matches the music. The second video was a good tutorial as well! I would like to see you online more, I'm not sure if I got the wrong name or something, but I did /seen KingJacksonPlays and you hadn't been on in 24 days, which is a bit too long. If I see you online more often, and you make some newer content with the tips all of us have given you, you'll have my full +1! Its always nice to have new staff helping out with the server, so good luck!

Your shots are rather beautiful! You seem to know what you're doing. However, some of your shots can be kind of irrelevant in the sense that some of your shots seem to shoot random parts of the spawn in your first media example. Like how the video started with a full overlook of the spawn, then a rather slow pan down to a large sign that said "Survival". Also, your shots are rather dark because of the shaders and the time of day. Sunset is a beautiful time of day to shoot, but it looks somewhat depressing. Aside from all of this, you show your knowledge of shots and the PixelCam/CameraStudio Mod in general, so that tells me that you have potential. Even if you do get accepted as it is, you will be given helpful tips and engage in helpful conversations in meetings with the media staff on TeamSpeak. All you really need to learn are new techniques of shooting, filters, effects, and mood/tones, which are relatively easy to catch onto. You are very lucky, because you seem to have a decent computer in which I lack. I applied for media, but my computer tends to lag a lot when I use the mod, and even when I do complete a shot, my recorder crashes halfway through the course. Good Luck bud! I have faith in you!

Your videos are very nice! You've definitely got the skills to hold the Media position! Try to make more happier videos, they're great and all, but seem to be really dark. Anyway, gl from me!!
