Lower some towny prices.

1K for a plot is a bit extreme, as is 5K for an outpost.

Overall town price has already been lowered by 100K.

+1 I was just claiming some plots, in my town not worrying about much. I ad 30k in the town. I claim some plots, and a few outposts and i was down to 5k in 5 minutes. I barley claimed that much. I don't this is fair, Also, wasn't /t claim only 100 at one point? I think it should be reduced by half AT LEAST.

It would also be nice is taxes were based on the number of residents instead of the number of plots.

 

-1, coming from someone who traditionally has ran large towns, 1000 to claim, and 5000 for outpost aren't that bad. Of course we'll all vote for anything to be cheaper, but it's not that expensive.

If you guys keep nerfing ways to make meebles, I would +1 this. But for now, i'm +/- on this.

 

I say +1 mainly because 1k was easy to make back in MeepShop days and Sinks where needed but now they aern't just drop Outposts to 3k and Plots to 600

 

I agree that the prices should be lowered a bit, however I also believe that the prices are one of the challenges of owning a town. +/-

 

I think plot claiming is already pretty cheap

lol, well that's because you have more money than other players- small towns struggle to grow as it is hard for new players to earn money.

I also believe that the prices for claiming are astronomical when you are trying to raid a town...

Either refund money when you unclaim or lower the claiming prices...

Nothing, just been preoccupied with other stuff in-game aside from hustling/playing. But I was making the point, in this regard I'm apart of your group. Towns are expensive, they are, but that is the point of towns. Even @ 1000 and 5000. That upkeep reduction really was the best.

Outside of the argument of lowering any price being beneficial for those paying it, I just don't agree that those two prices are that killing. It's something to keep in mind, absolutely. But it's not back-breaking.

 

While I never said it was back-breaking, nor do I think that, I'd rather not have to have someone own a plot for 10 days at a tax of 100 for break even.
I don't run my current towns for profit, but I'd rather not lose so much.
