Reason for ban: Griefing in old spawn

Staff member who issued ban: Muunkee

What have you learned and why should we trust you to do better? I have not learned anything because this was a mistake and I did not do anything wrong.

Please give any other information you might think is useful for us to know: Lordusan teleported a bunch of people (including me) into the ice maze at old spawn. He said, "DO NOT DESTROY ANYTHING OR YOU WILL BE BANNED." So, I was confused, figuring that it would be protected. I tested this out my placing 1 redstone dust, then breaking it right away. That is the only block that was placed or destroyed by me.

So, I must have been banned because my name showed up on the logs, but I was simply seeing if it was protected or not.

 

Why exactly did you break blocks when said person specifically told you not to?

 

I did not break any blocks that were part of the spawn.

I placed down 1 redstone dust, then deleted it instantly. That is not griefing. Besides, the person was not a staff member, therefore they don't have any specific authority to say that.

Basically to sum this whole thing up, and to show the reasons that I feel I shouldn't be banned:
1) I was never told by a person of authority that I could not break blocks.
2) I did not break any blocks that were apart of the ice maze or spawn.
