When did you join Meepcraft? 25th of February 2015

Introduction: I know that some of you already know me, and some don't and I do know that I've written an introduction many times, and I don't know how many times I can repeat the same thing in different words, however I will give you all information about me, so you can know who and what MisterBacon actually is, for good and bad.

I also feel that you would say this "This kid again? He has been applying for a lot of times and this is like the 18th time!" Yes, that is true and I see your point there and this is one of the reasons why the staff think that I am desperate and power hungry, however that is not the reason, I have applied that many times it's because I wanted to be staff to help, benefit and make players happy. Hello, I am MisterBacon, I live in the Philippines and I am 13 years of age. I enjoy reading books, composing, surfing in the internet and play video games, obviously. I also enjoy playing some sports which is Basketball, football and badminton. MeepCraft has been such a great experience for me, I've been on it with its ups and downs, its rises and falls. I have 2 siblings, one is a boy and one is a girl. They're both still in the elementary and I'm the oldest of all of us. My dad is a businessman, likewise my mother. I thought I had to say this because I wanted to delve who and what I really am.

I began using and playing computers on the age, I believe 3 or 4? The first game I ever played was WarCraft III: Frozen Throne then after that, StarCraft, as my father is an awesome guy and also, enjoys playing computers himself. As stated above, I started playing on MeepCraft on February 25 2014, MeepCraft is such a great server, I joined with the playerbase of 500-1000. I have spent most of my time to video games and I have played a lot of them, I enjoy playing MMORPGs, FPS games, However, I am really hooked up and can't leave MeepCraft for now, and I don't have any plans leaving for awhile. MineCraft is special, and MeepCraft's community is too.

Why should you be Helper? I don't want to keep saying like what others do like "I want to help out, I love MeepCraft, etc,." however, I do feel like I am qualified for the helper position. It is because when I joined MeepCraft, I had a strong affection to it, I fell in love with it. I feel like it is my home, my second home, where the players is my family. I have listed down why am I qualified for helper and why should I be accepted, even just an interview.


For the past few weeks, I have been noticing that players in my timezone are being disappointed, currently it's because of the staff. They can't actually fulfill the '24/7 staff online' advertisement and I do feel like, this is wrong and I want to correct it, I might be a little bit exaggerated here but I am very, very sure that I can help out. I'm not begging you for giving me staff, however, Give me a chance and I will prove you all that I am worthy for the position and you will not regret it.

Experience: For the experience I had on other servers, as stated above, I feel like it would be also a benefit to me being a staff on handling modreqs, I will go over to quality more than to quantity. It is because I think that a modreq should be done with a great manner, make the player walk away with a smile, glad that you were the one that answered their modreq.

Commitment and Dedication: My commitment and my dedication to the community is also one of my advantages, As I have been here for 18 months, I have been registered to forums for 18 months and teamspeak too. Whenever I am in game, either I am online on teamspeak or forums. For this period of time being on MeepCraft, I feel like dedication is a very good thing. Without this, you can't fulfill staff at all. Without dedication, there would be no motivation and you won't actually feel loving staff and try to get it.

Rules knowledge: As I have said, I've been on the server long enough to know most of the rules yet I have that long ban history and we will be talking about that on the section below. I can know when a player is saying something offensive in shout which are chat offenses. as I've been here for that long enough to know most of the rules and I do know this is a great advantage.

Involvement: My involvement on the community is great also! I feel like the best one is Teamspeak, I start talking to one by one, then after a couple of minutes of interacting with the players, more and more players will join and I do enjoy talking to them. Forums is also one of things that I use to interact with the community and in game, I use global chat more to help and interact with the community. Though I don't have any experience on prism, I am gladly ready to learn more about prism and I am open to any improvements.

What are your weaknesses? Immaturity - I am just 13, and most of you know that young kids like me, would have that time to be immature. I always tend to control my immaturity most of the time I am at MeepCraft, I always try to watch and think what I do, my actions and what I say in shout. Being on MeepCraft for this long, I can control my immaturity and be more serious at times. I say, I have changed a lot based from my first application. I may have made some mistakes at the past, and I have learned a lot based from those mistakes and I would gladly not do it again.

Self-control – There would be those times where I could not control myself and do such stupid things and it ends me up in trouble. Over time, I have learned to control myself more and more, but sometimes it would still get the best of me. I have matured, and that can be true, but that doesn’t mean that I can control myself most of the time, as stated above, I am a 13 year old kid and I tend to have some fun. I have learned from those mistakes that I did on the past, I am more confident now that I have got rid of this weakness and I do believe that it won’t affect me being a staff member.

Ban history - Yes, this is one of my weaknesses, I do have a long ban history, this is the result of losing self-control and immaturity and I do regret most of them, I don't want to add up and make the list longer, I am trying to prevent myself from getting bans again as I stated above, I know most of the rules now and I would read them regularly to know if they updated it.

One of my weaknesses is also that attitude where if I get denied, I would leave for a short period of time then come back then apply again, and I do admit that, I did that a couple of times before, however I don't have any plans on leaving for awhile now as I am very hooked up and I do want to help the server. (This is the reason why I got denied last time)

Please give any other information you might think is useful for us to know: With the staff quality and number shrinking (In my timezone possibly), I've decided to apply because I feel they could use the help, and because I want to help, and I feel I can impact the server in the most direct way, modreqs and interaction with the community itself.

Bacon, if you are accepted, we need you to be a part of the team. No lashing out, no gossiping, and no "leaving." Please get those 3 things under control. We need to have trust in our team, and doing those things isn't the way to get it.

+1 more than capable of performing the basic duties as a helper, although like some of the current staff; I wouldn't see you progressing to the level of the higher ups - saying that, that could easily change if I saw you as a staff member.

Gummi, let me tell you something. I am going to be honest with you. I feel like you have stopped trying. You don't have nearly as much effort as you used to have. When you are not happy with the responses you either delete your app, or quit for a little.

I'm not necessarily disagreeing with you, but I do not believe that this is entirely true. For the past couple of weeks I've really got to know gummi and we've talked a lot. From this I can gather that he is putting in all his effort and I really believe he would be a great addition to the staff team, just a thing to think about.
Also his last application was denied. He didn't leave, but he persevered and tried again. This shows commitment and dedication, two valuable things needed for a staff member.

Once again, I'm not picking you out your post is just the one I'm responding to.

Gummi has made 17 applications, I don't know how much more ready he can get.

This is getting to the point where it's so repetitive that I honestly want you to be staff so you could stop.

In the next two weeks, you'll apply again, and then again in the next two weeks.

This is genuinely not a good strategy into becoming staff, it seems as if you're extremely desperate.

I don't know if there's some kind of ban from this forum, but if there is, gummy should be the first one.

I've applied probably 7 times through the 3 stages of meepcraft, but I know when to stop.

I hope I am as persistant as you when it comes to stuff that's important to me in life.

I was a +1 before but your response to your denial was overall very immature and brash. I find it disconcerting. Sorry, but your attitude has plummeted and I'm a -1.

 

Personally, I think you have "quit" to many times due to the denial of your applications or for other reasons. Nevertheless, I think they should give you a shot. That being said, I think this should be your one and only shot at helper unless you really really improve. Overall, I give you a +1. Work your butt off if you get accepted.

 

You know, gummi, you really had it for awhile, you did, but you've kind of lost it. I feel that your interest in minecraft, or meep, as a whole isn't what it used to be, and it's going against you here. I no longer see you helping, you're not as active, you're cheerful, but so cheerful to the point it looks fake and silly. I honestly don't see you trying as much, you keep going inactive for a bit after a denial rather than staying and working harder again.
