Introduction: Hello! My Name is Langston1209(not to be confused with Landonator419!), many of you may know me from my long history here on Meep, or from other games i play such as League, csgo, etc. In real life i am a Senior year high school student taking multiple honors and AP classes hoping to major in either civil or mechanical engineering in college next year. In addition to academics i participate in multiple school sports year-round (CrossCountry, Indoor Track, Outdoor Track). I am also a member of our school's band program and have been playing trumpet for 7 years now. I have a very fun and comedic personality, i am always seeking to cause laughter among my friends and help people out when they are in need. I have experience being a helper on Meep before, serving as one for around 5 weeks in early 2014 before taking a extended break from Minecraft for a few months.

Why should you be Helper? I should be helper because in addition to having prior experience of being a helper for over a month, I am a very mature person who has a strong understanding of how the server functions and the game works, the only struggle i can foresee is the transition to prism(when i was last staff the server used hawkeye),. While helper and even before i assisted Fuzzlr and staff such as bluecarneal with numerous big projects such as bug testing and balancing of the "new" vshop economy. I believe that this, plus my drive to help those in need and work diligently and efficiently to accomplish what i set out to do make me a exceptional candidate for a helper position.

What are your weaknesses? (1) TS activity, after spending over 8 hours in school learning, and another 2-3 at sports practice i prefer to just come home and listen to Pandora and relax rather than engage in conversation. However, if the need ever arises for me to be asked to login to TS i am readily available whenever i am online ingame. Another point to add here is that i prefer not to talk via microphone unless it is required(obviously i will during interview provided i get accepted, etc), i have many reasons why i am this way and no, its not because i am shy, i am actually rather outgoing.

(2) Forums activity, really the only time i have ever used forums is to fill ban reports and provide evidence, i feel as all the player interaction can really be done in-game or on TS rather than on the forums.

Please give any other information you might think is useful for us to know: - Helper for +/- 5 Weeks, applied for Mod but withdrew application and resigned before it was voted on, as i did not agree with the direction the server was heading and how the staff team was being managed at the time.
- I tend to try to go above and beyond a lot, sometimes this causes me to neglect some of my lower more basic duties. To put this into perspective when i was helper back in 2014 i had a below-average modreq count(believe 10 per day back the was "good" i had 5-7) and this was due to the fact that i traded off handling some of the modreqs while other helpers were on in exchange for being the guy standing in spawn answering every citizens questions who didnt understand how to use /modreq or /shout yet to ask questions to anyone that wasn't in the immediate area, as well as temp-banning every player that joined the server and attempted to advertise(was a common occurrence back then- i would deal with 3-5 per day on average)

you do, however, seem capable. I just have never seen you in...ages.

 

It is true that your activity needs some work (forums mostly) but you seem ready and capable of the potition. Also, from what I have seen, you are mature and nice.

LOL, we were staff at the same time, literally we both got helper within the same week im 99% sure. Early 2014 around March i think? Lemme know if that rings any bells, might have some screenshots if you really don't believe me lol. As for timezone, while yes i am on east coast i am not on during the "traditional hours" as like i said, i have quite a lot going on after school. I'm usually on between 5-11pm my time during the week(i still see your name in tab quite often though). Activity has been on the low side this week though due to a lot going on with band and track.
