Introduction: During my past two runs as staff all I ever wanted to do was give back to the server. But now I believe that not only do I want to give back to the server- I want to make it a better place. I want to be someone you feel safe talking to about anything and am working to become that person. If you guys want to know more about me come and message me sometime. I don’t hide anything.
I don't know what else you guys want to know about me so I'll move on. =)

Why should you be Helper? I think one of my main qualities is leadership. I constantly asked for projects and suggested some myself. I’ve done projects that have taken an hour to three weeks. Whenever something was on trello I did an outline for it. I like to think my outlines were top notch. Even when 90% of my trello work got archived that didn’t stop me from continuing to do it. Soon enough from helpers to fellow mods asked me to train them on trello outlines and useage. I also began a new method of training that broke it up so that new helpers weren’t bombarded with information all at once. If I’m not doing modreqs, writing outlines, working with other staff members, or tracking hackers, I’m engaging with players. One thing I want to bring to the staff team in particular is player staff engagement. I want to bring back town hall meetings, get players involved with trello, (it’s not just for techs, admins, and aliens!) and really make the community feel connected.
I also think my openness is a strength, although could be a weakness in some cases. For example, I will be open about my opinions, goals, etc. People end up using that against me. However it also means I do not lie. And that anyone can come to me about anything. This also means I will never manipulate people and won’t use a facade. I’m also open about my weaknesses and that helps me overcome them much easier. Such as pettiness- I’ve found I can be petty. Now that I accept that I can work towards recognizing and stopping it.
I am very diplomatic in meetings and can mediate both sides of an argument. Especially on teamspeak. Which I’m active on. On projects and ban reports I find it fun to be organized although my thoughts and room are anything but!
Overall I believe I brought a lot to the team before and will be a great asset in many areas again.

What are your weaknesses? I will put everyone before myself. Actually let me rephrase that. I do not stick up for myself. If someone wants something I have a hard time saying no. Usually I get out of these situations by making excuses.
I also have a hard time with working memory. A luring case might take me longer than an average person because I need to remember what I have already gotten.
I have a weakness in the area when it comes to maturity. I mean look at my app! It's not in the professional style I used last time but I want to let you guys see my other side- one more silly where I let my hair down. I think maturity comes with work and if someone can prod me from now and then about my maturity I think I'll soon be able to recognize and deal with it myself.
And of course this aren’t all my weaknesses (I could never list them all) but I think these would affect my staff work the most

I am surprised your application is slightly hypocritical from when you replied to my helper application to what you were concerned about when I re-applied.

demotion was not addressed

But in all seriousness you and I got along and I don't mind if you rejoin the team or not because I know you will dig you head into trello doing work. But to me you seemed to be on a high horse towards the end of your time as a moderator.

Hey there Hestia, I'm going to reside at a -1 for a few reason.

1. I don't believe you addressed your demotion appropriately. Yes, you were demoted. No, you were not demoted for no reason. No, your demotion was not false. You handled your demotion extremely poorly, be it constantly messaging @KlutchDecals about getting back onto the team, or messaging myself about how your demotion was stupid, you were on track for SuperMod, @Courtneyyy was a bad SuperMod, and how upset you were that I would somehow be your "competition" when you are back on the team. For one thing, you seem to feel extremely entitled. You expect a position back on the team. You are not requesting, even though it may be typed out that way. I have a strong feeling that if this is denied, you will not be going quietly. I tried to stay as out-of-the-conversation as possible when you were complaining to me for about 2 days straight. I did not want to give my opinion, because my opinion was that everything you were demoted for was completely valid. I did not see you as someone that represented the team's values in a good manner.

2. You talk trash. A lot. Sure, we all have our enemies. I know that certain people around the server really get my goat sometimes, but I have actual reasons to be mad. You talked so much trash about Klutch and Courtney that I was about to block you on Snapchat. I was so tired of hearing your pity-party that I told Klutch exactly what you said to me. You are one of the rudest, most arrogant people I know on this server, and for no good reason! You had no base to show that Klutch or Courtney had ever wronged you, yet it was as if they had skinned your favorite pet and hung it from a clothesline.

3. This is a reason in and of itself: "Best smod team rn would you, me, muunkee, and del (cept del and I can't work together- not cuz we aren't friends or anything, we just legitimately can not work together lmao."

As I said before, strong -1.

I highly doubt any hard worker in the right mind would take a demotion well. Hestia was definitely one of the harder working mods in my time as staff, and sometimes I would just sit there in awe of how much dedication and time she put into doing staff work. Quality was excellent, amount of work done was so high, trello projects, staff meetings, overall effort and leadership - she had it all. She's pretty resilient too - the demotion might've been a very low point for her but she didn't spend two weeks crying about it and continued to come back. Everyone slips up - some more severe than others. Great. But she's learned her lesson and has continued to be a positive and active member of the community even though no longer holding a staff rank, and she's very active for a student who could be using the time for other things.

If she had expected a staff rank, she would have likely decided not to make another application but continued to press Klutch and Courtney for her rank back. And if they didn't promote her again, she might've just given up on the spot. But she didn't. She waited, wrote out an application, and posted it, waiting for a result. It might seem like desperation as it has been only about two weeks since she was demoted, but I would consider it determination to move forward.

In every staff member, you want someone who is good at 1) good with people 2) does their share of work 3) takes crap. She's done about the fullest extent of all of those and more. I'm all for giving her a second chance, and I'm trusting that she doesn't make the same mistakes that caused her demotion last time.

As a staff member, I think it's very silly of you to vote negatively on her application after you guys have had major complications with one another lately.

If you look at my comment above, I am not really supporting Hestia. But Klitcher, c'mon. You clearly don't want her as staff for personal reasons, and whether your points are valid or not, the decision was made out of personal bias.

 

I don't agree with this at all. I'm not trying to argue with you Bob, I'm just going to clarify my point.

Yes, part of the reasons that I -1'd the app happened in a personal situation, but that does not mean that they didn't influence how I see her as a staff member and player. She was inappropriate in how she spoke about others, dealt with others, and how she handled her demotion. Yes, this -1 is out of bias because I don't think she can do a good job as a Helper anymore. I'm not -1-ing her because I don't like her.

In addition, we have had no complications with each other. I am yet to get in an argument or fight with Lady_Hestia. I don't see where that concern comes from.

 

Huge +1, when I first joined she was one of the only people to help me. Great with modreqs and is very nice.

You were a good worker throughout forums, in game, and on trello, but you got demoted for a big reason. I think its great to set a goal for yourself and compete yourself to achieve that goal. I don't think its great that you thought you were better than everyone else on the team and acted higher up then all of us. You tried to take control of the helpers and the mods when that wasn't your job. If you did get accepted, you expect a certain position higher than helper on the team and I personally don't trust you due to what you were demoted for. I don't care if you talk bad about me, but once your talking bad about my friends on the staff team, thats where the line ends.

+1, you worked hard while on the staff team, and contributed a great deal. While you got pretty salty after your demotion (which, I guess, is somewhat understandable), you seem to have changed this negative mentality over the last few weeks. Regardless, the positives outweigh the negatives.

Also,

I honestly disagree with your response. Ranks, or rather, the allure of them, shouldn't encourage individuals to apply, especially because the primary goal of helper is to help players and answer questions. On the other hand, I don't see where Hestia feels "entitled" to helper. Nevertheless, I think a blanket statement can be made: apply for helper for the sake of helping, not for prestige. Your response is simply based off personal bias, rather than facts.

 

On the contrary, she has proven to me on many occasions that she seeks SuperMod over all else. I wish I had more evidence, but I hope my word is enough for some.

Do these -1 and +1 even effect whether you get helper?
But you always seem to be nice friendly and willing to help out. Even though you do have a tendency to trash talk etc.
