Introduction: Hi my name is Terry, I am a 32 year old man from Canada. Ive been playing minecraft for a long time. Long time gamer, and that won't ever change. I work for a railway company as a Freight Train Conductor. I do work long hours however my off time I am always online. I have done some volunteer work at the local SPCA as well. I have a beard and will never ever shave it off and no I'm not lumberjack. I have 2 years of college (Computer Repairs and Network Design and Administrative Technologies). I listen to music most times I'm on the computer as I am intrigued by foreign languages and love to listen to the melodies. I am fluent in 2 languages, English and French.


Growing up was very though, I was the kid that got picked on/bullied and beaten up at school. I haven't had many friends as many would fear that being associated with me would get them to be a target but the few friends from childhood I have are very good friends. I Used to love reading however I have outread myself. My favorite book is Ready Player One and I suggest that anyone with a geek side however so little should read this book.


Why should you be Helper?
Well I would like to say I would like to be a Helper to continue to help people with meepcraft and start my journey into staff. I want to try to make the experience for new and old meeper's en-joyful and make this an environment that any parent would be proud to allow their kids to journey into.

Honesty/integrity - I will always try to practice what I say. I won't lie for personal gain nor for any other gains for that matter. I will not be persuaded by intimidation. If we all follow the rules then there shouldn't be any issues.

Dedication - I have tried other servers to see how the communities were and I can say that I have pledged my dedication to meepcraft, I vote everyday to try to raise awareness for meepcraft and not for the meebles we get (though it helps) as I believe we do have the best community out there, people are friendly and helpful. I would like to help keep it that way.

Experience - I worked for many helpdesk as well as computer repair shops, so troubleshooting and getting to the root of problems isn't usually an issue. I worked many years at AOL Canada back in the day as Tech Support, Community Action Team (took care of violations).

What are your weaknesses? I love dirty jokes and in the past I slipped and told one on meepcraft. I do however promise that will never happen again.I won't get into this one ill keep it clean for the forums.

I can be stubborn at times (working on this). - I sometimes will stand my grounds longer than I should and tend to shutdown (wont talk, wont say anything) cause I get frustrated.

Forgetful - This is a big one and it's not due to my age, my doctor says I may have a touch of ADD. I get sidetracked easily and then tend to forget what I was doing previously. I used to forget to take my medication in the past but it's gotten better.

Also I would say that I try to please people too much , I would be used many times to mediate situations between 2 friends and they would get frustrated that I wouldn't take sides. I have since gotten a firmer stance on this and I am able to make decisions on situations but I will also doubt myself on it.

Forums - I have not been very active on the forums and I realize that I will need to be more active here too going forward.

Please give any other information you might think is useful for us to know: I love meepcraft. Returning to work again in a week after a month long injury however I will be on meepcraft as much as I can be due to being oncall for trains. So that means if trains are busy I would be on every other day almost.

 

Also please ask if there is anything else you would like to know.

Your application did not look that long, and I can tell you have more weaknesses then what you put in your app. While you may be a little helpful advertising your application doesn't look very good, trust me I did it before as well so don't feel bad. I know you are active as I do see you, I simply don't see you as helpful. A helper needs to be there 24/7 constantly answering modreqs. You seem too busy to be on *+ hours per day. Im sorry -1

I have seen you before in-game and on /g helping out; however, I have not seen you on the forums before, and have only seen you a few times on TS. I suggest you improve your activity in both of these aspects.

Your application is short and could have used more elaboration. How do you make a difference in the Meepcraft community and stand out above any other applicant? What do you have to offer to the community (ex. experience for leadership positions, experience with Prism and other staff tools)?

References in a future application would be good.

I don't agree with you often, but this is one of those times. I'd take an adult with questionable activity over an active but obnoxious tween (1/3 of the staff team) everytime.

Im good with your, app, not much wrong, it was short as others said, but, you said each day you play meep for 8 hours, holy cow. That's like a full time job. Maybe you meant in a week you play 8 hours, but maybe you seriously live in a basement playing meep all day. Don't edit it, that's a big Nono, just reply below if you meant 8 hours a week.
