Well where shall I start... When I first created my MineCraft account in October of 2011 I named it unbrocken I know as many people have pointed out to me it is unbroken with a c... I knew this when I created the account but in a rush to make the account and start playing I took the lazy root of coming up with a name... sadly... So as I have heard down the grape vine I heard about something coming in the 1.8 update it was about I.G.N changes. In that when 1.8 came around you would be able to choose to change your I.G.N. Me having my regretful name and all would love to change it but keep all my towns data my money and my rank (supreme). Well I found a crushing statement to my search to end my misery the fact that fuzzlr said on a post that come 1.8 if any did change a name they would loose everything I cited before (money, towns data, etc.) so the reason why I came here is if I could somehow talk to an admin or some staff that could me transfer my (UUID) data to another (UUID) this being very complex I don't blame you if you refuse because to complex or to much of a hassle but for my names sake please take this into serious consideration. Thank you for any help provided in my pursuit of a new name thanks. I'm sorry for any convenience in this matter.

Simple fix:
Give your town, valuable possessions, and your money to an alt or a trusted person, change your account name, then get the stuff back.

MonkeyHead1999 if you were banned wouldn't your staff status be revoked so you would not be able to transfer a rank?

Sorry man I don't think a friend can transfer a rank but it would work for money and towns thanks!

That's why I am posting this thread in case of the fact that I will loose all towns data and money. Because anyone with dirt for brains would make sure before committing server suicide.

 

The mojang post, was posted a month after Onis's post. You wont loose supreme, as Meep uses Buycraft, Which are using UUID's now like most plugins.

 

I was demoted awhile ago. I cannot transfer a rank, but I can transfer all of your stuff.

 

Ok so as a final clarification I can change my name and not loose my rank and have all my money and towns data FOR SURE sorry I just really don't want anything to go wrong.

 

Yes, You can easily just wait for someone else to do it first, then see what happens. Ill be changing all my accounts names anyway.

The admins have said that they do not perform rank transfers, but I'm not sure if that policy will be affected by name changes after the 1.8 upgrade. I'll see if someone can give you an official answer on this.

I cannot guarantee anything however I believe that because of the UUID your account should transfer.
I would suggest waiting until you get the 'official' answer from an Admin.

We can not transfer uuid's that is a Minecraft issue I recommend you contact Mojang for MineCraft account issues, MeepCrafts policy is we do not transfer ranks
