Change the MeepGuide

What's taking so long to change the MeepGuide? I tell you guys, the information it gives is misleading and is a BIG factor in the declining interest of new players. /buy 1 stonepickaxe 100 is NOT relevant anymore, and when it doesn't tell you how to communicate in global, how are the new players going to know anything? (They try to ask questions in wild local). I know how frustrating this is because I experienced this on another server--then immediately logged off. My take was: "If they don't care about me enough to update an instruction book, they don't deserve to have me on the server." And this is probably what many "noobs" think on Meep as well.

 

There is so much misinformation and outdated information all over Meepcraft. Whether it is here on the page, the voting sites, the game...

A review and renovation is in place.

What should be added in the Meepguide.

How do you guys think we can help the new people?

 

Explain how they can make money should be, like, top 5.

 

How about have a list of people they could msg to help?

 

Make it clear that to talk to the whole server, use /g [message]

 

Add information about /pwarps, I would even go as far as including Diana's pwarp in the book.

As was previously mentioned, change the V-shop guide to Chestshop guide.

Rewrite the "Become an Athlete" section about parkour. Say, the rewards are reset weekly and there are many courses. (There are many "sporting events" around the spawn is kind of inappropriate in that section and not even true)

Add Kitpvp section/Skyblock section, change /warp pvp from "Arena" to "Terrarium"

In the section about Towny commands, say, that a full-ish list can be found in the /warp beta location.

EDIT: And please, update the Server information on all the voting sites. There is outdated information there as well.

 

This has been done and can likely be moved to resolved provided @Sjoeppappentrap and everyone is happy with the changes.
