Why we should consider your appeal: So, complimenting and defending a woman is now 'hateful content'? I called bbycakes2012 smart and told the other players, who were lamenting her for following the rules, to cut her some slack. This new guy, peekizz99, obviously is not very well acquainted with the rules and banned me for hateful content. I guess standing up for a woman is sexist and hateful now? I would like peekizz99 and lamedemond2 to be demoted and dishonorably discharged from their positions as staff members. They do not represent the server well. I am 100% for gender equality and do not wish to continue to play on the server if the staff members encourage sexism and punish equality.

I'm sorry, but saying 'Bbycakes is smart, for a female' is not defending women or equality.

You have pushed the line on this topic far too often for us to continue to let you off leniently.

Please also cut with this 'peekizz and flamedemond2 demotion' stuff as well, it's not funny. A ban appeal is meant to be professional, so making a joke out of it doesn't help. You can't expect us to take you seriously when you don't take us seriously.

What is wrong with say that? In my country that's how we complement people. My friends say that "I am smart for a male". That is just the way we say things. I am also not making a joke. Please do not assume that I am joking, because doing so is very offensive to me. I am trying to be serious here and you are obviously only taking me as a joke. If bbycakes2012 thought it was offensive to her, why did she not ban, kick, or even reprimand me at the time? I do not understand how this is hateful content. If anything, uglyunicorn calling me an 'ass' is closer to hateful content than what I said.

 

By saying 'bbycakes is smart for a female.' you imply that females are normally not smart. how is this not sexist?

 

If you had read my comment, I said that is how I learned to phrase a complement. I say "I am smart for a male" all of the time. I was not trying to imply anything. By implying that I was trying to imply something, you are implying that I think all females are stupid, an implication which is sexist in and of itself.

On your last two ban appeals, you have not taken the matter of being banned seriously. If you can't take staff members names and their names seriously, then why should we take you seriously. Cut it with the peekizz and flamedemond2 demotion crap. It is not appropriate and you need to handle these seriously.

Comparing two genders in their intelligence levels is also very "gender"-ist and does not represent gender equality. Also, when you first were introduced to me, you said you could not talk to females under the age of 18... hmmm.

That post was an obvious joke on Bobjoncreeper's staff application. If you think Bobjon is a woman, then you yourself are sexist. You are treating gender is a social construct and are only perpetuating social inequalities. Bobjon is obviously a man. Just because his voice is effeminate does not mean you get to treat him as a woman. As for my country of residence, thank you for prodding into my personal life and not believing what I have to say. I really enjoy the trust I receive as a male player. You would obviously not condescend and disrespect a female player like you are doing to me. I spent the first eight years of my life living in Kazakhstan. Over there we complemented women by saying they were "smart for a girl" and men by saying they "cooked well for a man". So please, Boobear, treat me with the same respect you would treat another female. I do not appreciate being prejudiced against simply because of my gender. Also, I have a hard time with usernames. I often forget them and/or spell them incorrectly. So please forgive me, for I am not trying to make a joke. I do, however, truly believe that lamedemond2 should be demoted for his crimes against the players of Meepcraft.

As I am not the source of that screen shot, I got it from another staff member. Although I can take a joke, I don't like jokes being present on staff applications, report-a-players, and ban appeals. I do not think BobJon as a woman, I am not sexist. You are treating gender is a social construct and are only perpetuating social inequalities, not me.

I did not prod into your personal life, it is something that came up on Skype when you tried to add me as a contact. I have selective photographic memory, so I remember quite a bit from what I see. It's not that I do not believe what you have to say, it is that I can not trust someone who lies over and over and over again to staff.

The trust you receive as a male player? You receive the trust you deserve for your recent actions. So, please do not think that I am treating you unfairly or unjustly as you brought it upon yourself with karma. I treat players, REGARDLESS of their gender, the way they should be treated based on the relationship they have with the server and the trust they deserve. You have to earn it, it's not a right.
