When you were banned: Cant remember, sometime in May i think

Reason: I wanted a friend to take a look at my server which diddent end very well (my server that is), and since i diddent knew the person outside of minecraft i had to put up a sign for him to be able to join me, that then resulted in a perm ban to me from meepcraft, and i havent played since, but now im starting to miss meep a bit and i really want to visit again and that is why im now sending you guys this appeal hoping to get unbanned.

You were banned in June for advertising a server on a sign in Creative. Do you understand now that giving out the names or IP addresses of other Minecraft servers on MeepCraft is illegal?

 

I can assure you that i've never placed a sign in creative, i did how ever place one sign under a tree in my towns outpost, so i really got no idea why some one would say i placed one in creative where most ppl could stomble upon it. But dont worry i realised that it was very illegal on meepcraft the very second i got banned, no doubt about that.

Yes, it was in Beta (a towns world), but you didn't discreetly put it under a tree for one person.

 

My mistake, chaos is right. I looked up the proof but got it mixed up in my head with another ban.

 

okay maybe not exactly under a tree, i cant really remember, any how it was a one time thing i wasent hoping that ppl would leave meep and join my server, i just wanted the guy to visit real quick alright. Any way now that my server is long gone it doesent really matter any more, since im not gonna do it again + the fact that i actually have a paid rank on the server and im also appealing to get back, i wouldent go through all this just to get banned or kicked again..

Yeah. It was pretty clear this was not accidental, or an attempt to stay subtle. If I remember correctly, the tree was near the town's spawn, and I went to the server a few times to confirm it existed. It does.
The signs went to extra lengths to make sure they didn't get filtered by a potential sign-server-ip filter plugin.
I would say this is ads, through and through. I still have screenies, if that helps.

 

Jesus Christ -.- okay yes its an ad, it works and looks just like a ad, but when i put up this sign it wasent attended to be such one in the traditional way, i could had sent the ip over facebook, sms, email and all sorts of other things. When i placed this sign in my town we only had 3 other active ppl in the whole town who were comming in and could have seen the sign, honestly i diddent care if they did, because i was talking with all three of them on a daily basis, and of course i wanted them to take a look at my new server that i just bought, i mean wheres the crime in that. Now i do understand that i should of course had sent an email or used another way to tell them the ip than placing a sign on the server, but i diddent and i apologize for that. Now can we stop talking about, what i did and how, and just answer the freaking question which has got us all here, please! can i start playing on meep again or not?

I see no reason to keep you banned but just to be cautious there will be one condition. If we find that you advertise in any way shape or form it will be an instant perm ban with no appeal allowed.
