Reason: Threat against the server (economic)
    Ban Length: n/a
    Staff Member: slicknlsy
Why we should consider your appeal:

Today I come before you with professionalism. Please hear me out.
At approximately 10:30pm Central Time, I issued 3 modreqs that each read, "found tntrun glitch, gaurunteed win every time, will disclose for meebles." These were serious statements and I stand by them; I have found a flaw in tntrun and am willing to reveal the secret if a deal were to be made (Or perhaps "reward" would be a better term). While talking to said moderator, he/she was determined to retrieve the information from me. However, it was apparent to me that he/she did not want to offer me a single meeble or get assistance from their fellow moderators. I then said "why would I give you this glitch for free when i could continue to recieve meebles using my glitch?" Wrong answer for her evidently, as I was banned by an involved moderator (slicknsly).

While I did say in local chat to a moderator (Lysseal) that if someone did not offer me meebles for the information, I would "continue" to exploit TntRun. I have only successfully achieved this exploitation once, however with little practice, could be done many times by the avid parkourist. While the gain is negligible, I originally witnessed my friends at their houses using this glitch to win a few extra meebles (I will refrain from using their IGNs). I have no intent in exploiting TntRun and I furthermore enjoy the prospect of legitimately winning a round. I like MeepCraft and the minigames it offers, and wish to see those games be the best they can be for my and others' enjoyment.

Therefore, while my ban is defined as "Threat against the server (economic)", I could care less about the demise of the server and the heirarchy there-in. However If I am offering you, the government and keepers of MeepCraft, the location of a security chink, I am to expect something in return. Alternatively, I dont have any motivation whatsoever to offer anything to you. I'd like to point out: I scarecly play anymore since the new year because my college courses are getting increasingly more challenging especially since I'm majoring in Mechanical and Civil Engineering with a minor in Security Systems Management. With that said, I like to log on maybe once or twice a week and maintain my town and noob around in centrum; that is basically all.

Back to the point I was making. Those put in a position of power should always be looking for things that threaten their control or jeopardize the safety and security of the populace. For example, the FBI just recently issued a statement that they are willing to pay $10,000 to anyone with information that could potentially lead to the arrest of any person who has shone a laser pointer at the cockpit of an aircraft [1]. Otherwise, why would anyone just want to step forward? Compensation is necessary in some cases.
Why was I banned indefinetly? In the United States, which does not by any means have a perfect set of laws, presumption of innocence is a judiciary universal priciple: if there is no evidence, besides my claims (or should it be "threats against the server"?), why has there been punitive action taken? If a man says to another man, "I am going to give you 50 pounds of gold." Does the second man say "show me the gold." or "oh here is my immediate action in relation to your STATEMENT; Take this briefcase full of money." In the same way, the moderator who banned me should have collected proof beyond a reasonable doubt that I was going to, or at a current point in time, exploit TntRun.

I am open and willing to work with someone in a position of power in the server to conjure a reward for the information I am offering. I sincerely and professionally offer my apologies. I had at no point, the intent of exploiting TntRun, and officially state that I will never in the future whether or not a deal is made to fix the problem.

I love MeepCraft. It is the only server I play frequently. I have shown my support to the server by buying VIP (I know it's not alot in comparison to other ranks), and wish to continue to have the ability of playing sooner than later.

    Regards,
    B0LSHY

First of all, this is one of the most ridiculous things I have ever read in my year of playing on this server.

Let's go over a list of reasons why your ban is justified.

    1. You are withholding valuable information that could help the server better itself.
    2. You exploited a glitch for your own personal gain.

While there may be no proof stating that you were going to crash the server's economy, you did say that you would abuse, and you openly admitted to abusing this glitch.

Also, from a morality standpoint, why should we allow someone who is so overwhelmed by greed, such as yourself, to be a part of our community again? You clearly went out of your way to abuse a glitch and basically blackmailed staff for money.

Crash the server's economy? The server crashes its own economy with the introduction of millions of meebles per day, from essentially thin air. I have no intention of exploitation. I have written a well rounded essay explaining my case, I suggest you read it twice.

The proof against you in this case is strong. You clearly state here: http://gyazo.com/a6d20d18098701809cca3c16a4dcfdc2
that you intended to exploit the glitch.

Please also note that your sarcastic tone in the previous post does not improve your chances of being unbanned.

You were politely asked to disclose the glitch so we could fix it, and instead tried to use it to gain cash. That's not necessarily against the rules in itself, but saying that you will abuse the glitch is.

    This appeal is denied.
