I understand Meepcraft has a 0 tolerance for advertising other servers on your server.

I get that

What I did was I created a fake advertisement in witch I advertised Meepcraft.com. You see, it was supposed to be funny, but no one got the joke because the server automatically censored out the name Meepcraft.com, so no one saw that I was advertising Meepcraft on Meepcraft! I was banned as if I really advertised another server. I understand it was a mistake to be playing around like that and I won't do it again.

 

You need to realize how serious advertising other servers actually is. It drives players away from Meepcraft. That is why it isn't allowed. Regardless of your intent, we have no way to verify that you actually said Meepcraft.com, because it was changed into random characters (as would any website/IP).

I completely understand how bad it would be to advertise. I love Meepcraft as much as anyone here and I wouldn't want that. I've been on in off this server since March 2012. I've watched it grow up and everything. I saw Mrs Megan before she was even a Mod! I was here when when they revoked /me from everyone. I would never advertise on this server. I love Meepcraft! And on that note, you tenacity don't have proof that I didn't actually say Meepctaft.
