Introduction: Hello, My name is Nick but many of you know me as Spiderjel. I have been playing Meep for 6 years. This server has been the home of some of my greatest memories. Said memories were created by the wonderful community who has always welcomed me and helped me. I am applying here because I believe that I owe this server so much and it will be possible to aid it the most as a media. I know that I do not need a fancy tag or special commands to give back but this will surely help me make a bigger difference.

I have been playing with computers ever since I was 6 years old. Soon after, I started playing video games hence why I play Minecraft. After university, I wish to enter a computer engineering job. Outside of computers I love to fish, hunt, party, run track and play basketball!

I am still new to youtube but I believe that I could provide new players to the servers population. I enjoy making videos and I hope that my viewers enjoy watching them. My videos consist of mainly PG family friendly content. I am always inviting to new viewers and I frequently cater to all my viewing audience. Eventually, in the future, I plan on utilizing Meep as a medium to live stream on.

Alright, I’d like to address my toxic history. I used to be an unneeded member of the community. I would spam, swear and lie but that is all in the past. If anyone has communicated with me recently they would notice that I have changed for the better. If anyone has any concerns about my past please do not wait to contact me anytime in-game or via discord.

I’d also like to address my past helper application. I felt for a while that maybe I just was not fit to be media so I thought I would give helper a try. Since my helper application was shot down swiftly I’ve decided that I am definitely not fit to be a helper. I am certain that I am fit for this media position because of the combination of my qualities which I will get into in the following section.

Why should you be on our Media team? Determination - I am determined to bring good content to viewers and to bring new players to Meepcraft. Even if I am denied again I’ll still create videos based on the content that Meepcraft has to provide.

Contribution - As a media, I feel that my skills are my largest contribution specifically my editing. I have been editing for five months and one year and I feel that I have done some great work which will be recognized in my two examples.

Knowledge - I have a great knowledge of the commands and everything that there is to do on Meepcraft. With this knowledge, I know what to stream, what is fun and how to help people if they need it.

Discord Activity - I am almost always on discord willing to chat with anyone. I am also willing to take any criticism or hear what people would like to watch on my channel via discord.

Maturity - I feel that I have matured a lot since my last time applying for media. I used to make unnecessary jokes or offensive jokes but I have stopped since my last time applying.

Explorative nature - I have been looking to do new things on my channel and branch out into multiple fields. I feel that this is a perfect medium for me to do that on. With media, I will be able to record amazing looking trailers, nice action shots, and breathtaking scenic views.

Ok, let me fix this, kind of joking, but that is a weird glitch/mistake to have. How do you not put your correct country without copying?

It is true I can get a little hot tempered but I think I have controlled it and this I want to prove to staff and everyone I can be mature and Calm while becoming a media.

Now, you posted both your video examples today on your channel. Rather suspicious, ain't it? Along with the fact that you don't have anything else meepcraft related. Sure, you have 'few' minecraft on your channel, but nothing meepcraft related. Your attitude is also something that bothers me, as well as how you act with certain situations, trying to convince certain players to give you a +1, such as myself. Maybe theres no consent from you to allow me to show myself as one of the players, but even so, thats like you posting your app in global and saying, "hey you guys should check out my app ", which, in my opinion, is highly looked down at. And something to tie into your attitude, recently, not that long ago, you were banned for hacking, then unbanned after waiting for a while to appeal. Right after I told you you were unbanned (I believe I was the one who did), you came on meep, and began to act toxic while Cooleys was on, the one who unbanned you. You really believe you'd be able to act like that while having a staff rank? Finally, recently, the helper app you posted about a little over 2 weeks got denied. And you posted a media app. Instead of helper. Hm.

I posted them on the same day for my app they were both prerecorded a while ago. It's true I don't have anything else on there but I used to and you know it I took them off because they were sad and cringy. It is true that my past is bad but I think another chance should be given to me. And I asked you to give your honest opinion and said give me a +1 plz as a joke. I think people should forget the past and think of the future when it comes to me though. And I wanted to see what I needed to work on if I did become a help. Alright, I wasn’t going to comment here because I have not logged on since 2017 but I’ve noticed Spider receiving negative comments that he does not deserve. Alright I’ll address every negative comment sent thus far.
Immaturity: I’d like to start by saying that you cannot judge someone’s current maturity when you last spoke to them over a month ago. Spider has worked very hard on this and I have noticed great improvement since I started playing again. As of now he has not advertised his application at all on any Meepcraft platform.
Temper: Spider has been working on his temper for a long while now. He used to have frequent outbursts but he has limited them. You must also remember that nobody is perfect but he is trying his hardest and is creating results.
Helping application: He already addressed his helper application, he was just testing the water. He felt that it was wrong and unfit for him so he is just trying to go where he feels he will fit in. Anyway, your point by this? (Darkknight49x)
Hacking Ban: Darkknight you said you unbanned Spider or was there when he was unbanned I found it unclear. You haven't been on Meepcraft for over at least a month so Spider obviously was not banned recently.
I did not write this application which Marshy did mention was a joke but it seems some people took it seriously. It was careless that Spider stated he was from Canada instead of Michigan but it does not make much of a difference either way.

Did you even read my app and its not like people in discord don't curse every once in a while? It's also not like it's a rule to not curse if your uncomfortable ask me to stop. But I will work on it anyways if you do have a problem thanks and have a nice day.

 

Please make a video in creative of the top 5 creative plots so you have the ability to fly, the current videos are not up to standard. You have 5 days to complete the video.

I'm gonna point out the mistake that I kept making during my most recent application run-through.

You really don't need to reply to every single comment. It can cause controversy and can be looked down upon. You should only reply to comments that current staff say, just because they're the professionals. Not saying that other people's opinions don't matter. That's because people do have certain experiences with you that staff may not have yet, as well as past encounters. (I guess if you really, really REALLY need to reply, go for it...)
I'm neutral but leaning towards -1 because of my personal experiences i've had with you, in addition to the previous comments.

 

I don't care about people who swear in discord,
I don't care that you're toxic to staff,
and I really don't care if you're from Michigan or Canada or Saturn

I do care that you scream into your mic so much it hurts my head and I have to mute you. I care that you try to cheat anyone who makes any deal with you. I care that you're so untrustworhy you weren't even allowed in the official toxicity discord because we know you'd try and blackmail us. You show up in-game, whine in /g, get in trouble, scream into discord, get muted, say you're sorry and leave.
