Hi, I'm OKNEM.

My MeepCraft experience started in December 2012, with the cake spawn. The community was so friendly and I immediately loved this server from the moment I logged on. I did all the normal things a citizen would do, good and bad. Find a town, build a house, burn it down.

In August of 2014, after a year and a bit of this server that I thoroughly enjoyed, I had made some friends. I can't remember most of them, but I do remember @chairm, who was my Skyblock buddy for a long time. I was getting an income and I was happy. The one thing I was missing was a rank. One of my closest friends at the time, @Welshladdeh [at the time Someone1222] was kind enough to buy me VIP with 500k out of his own pocket. I had 300k, so I decided to add on and ask for an extremely sketchy Premium for only 800k. We eventually got a deal for 950k and I was upgraded. I was over the moon, and I couldn't thank him enough.

Over the years, I made more friends, upgrading my rank from Premium to Elite in July 2015. with real moolah. My previous ways of getting Meebles was slowly fading, as they either didn't provide me with enough Meebles for my efforts, or they were boring. September 2015 was around the time I got into dicing, and believe me, it was a habit that I didn't like from the moment I got it. With my 1mil that I had accumulated in the two months, I started dicing to get myself up to the 8mil I needed to buy Supreme.

@Lord_Walrus was probably the biggest person that I diced. Sometimes, I won, and he was upset, sometimes, he won, and I was upset. It was fairly square for a while. On top of some Infected and KitPvP, the dicing went my way and I eventually won the 8mil. To this day, I think he still has a grudge on me, which I felt really bad about. But there was nothing I could do, and I bought Supreme in January 2016 from @NinjaRoxy [thanks <3].

Dicing habits slowly fading, I decided to start my own town. I had a couple small ones in my time, but I decided that this one was going to be big. And boy, it was. It grew and grew over the year of 2016 by the time it was griefed in the August of that year, I think it had around 50 members. And I was devastated by this rotten being, who I will not name, who had destroyed my hard work.

It was at this point in which the big EULA updates came [I think it was October-ish?]. This REALLY changed my perspective on Meep, which at the time was getting really boring, despite the fact that I still had a bunch of friends. There was no more /nv or /fix, which were the two biggest letdowns for me. I wasn't getting the entertainment that I was getting before, and I quit Meepcraft in November last year.

Over the Summer holidays, I started getting into League of Legends. I'm still playing it today, but it wasn't the hit that I got with Meepcraft. I eventually hopped on every month or so, but I didn't notice the big changes that had already occurred.

In January this year, MeepCraft files were interrupted and all of Towny was deleted. This was MASSIVE for MeepCraft, because it was wholly Towny based. I didn't really think much of it. It was a reset, and a big one. All of Alpha and Beta was gone.

Following the updates that came around February, Towny was merged into one, and many small updates improved the server a LOT. I didn't know that these changes would impact the server wholly, and again, I didn't think much of it.

But during assessment period this term [March], I realised that what I did to get away from the stress of the work and exams that was put on me was Meep. It got me through school. I didn't realise that it was such a massive aid in my work, and League of Legends wasn't doing that for me.

So, this day, the 11th of March, 2017, I've decided to come back to Meepcraft. I think the reset has put everyone on the same level and it'll be interesting to see what happens in the following months.

And I want to be there to see.

TLDR: I'm coming back to Meep. A lot has changed and I feel it's for the better.

Yeah i remember ur elite and supreme days. Solid Guy. League just at a very boring stage right now with the current meta being super tanks and assassins. Either u don't do damage to the frontline or die in .01 seconds to high damage midlaners. Its the worst meta to hit league in the 5 years I've played it. Welcome back tho. GL.

 

Only Level 14, Varus main. Don't really get that feeling yet, but Teemo's always annoying. :/
