What have you learned and why should we trust you to do better? Like wtf? Jwarian I know you hate me (given me 3+ bans now) but this is outright ridiculous.

Absolutely nowhere did I do anything "language" related, and my name isn't offensive: I literally said in chat that I wasn't intending to offend homosexuals with the name. I'm no homophobe, the name is an inside joke.

Additionally i'd like to know why the "repeated language" is there - I said literally nothing wrong. Unless using the word "gay" in my name is offensive, when it's not supposed to be, ?? ? ? ??

Feel free to mute me for 30 days I guess, I will change it if thats what it takes for me to talk in /g. But I did nothing wrong except change my name.

And that wasn't intended to be offensive to anyone - I think jwar just despises me and wants me banned any way he can.

Please give any other information you might think is useful for us to know: I was even going to not stir stuff up in global anymore, until you had to do this. What's this supposed to do?

- Gay is not a bad word unless you use it in an offensive manner, which I didn't. It's an inside joke.
- Language offenses, yeah I have slipped with my /r and /tcb a few times before. But I never try to swear in global except for "ass" which I guess is allowed? "Damn" I don't consider a swear word but it's subjective.
- there was LITERALLY another person using this name. Did they get banned? Iirc, no.

Look man if you wanna mute me that's fine. Just let me play, please.

You knew what you were doing, the fact that you play it the other way is the most offensive part I myself find of this whole act, you have a history of pushing the line spider, congratulations you've past it.
Feel free to play once you change your name.

We allowed ImAids on this server. My name is not derogatory, nor does it spread a derogatory message.

Crossing the line would be if I actually said something inappropriate. It's nothing more than an inside joke.

 

Look guys I am not trying to stir anything up: I made it my mission today to be nicer in shout and I don't feel that my name has to have any effect on my behavior. I'll change the name as soon as I can, I just want to go mining and chat with my friends.

edit: Please allow @legendcaleb to comment on this thread. It was his name that I esssentially took; if anything, he would be the one that should be most offended by this, which he isnt?

if he has no issue with the name, and it was previously allowed, what's the issue? the fact that it contains "gay"...even though it is nothing more than an inside joke and not supposed to be homophobic? I don't have an issue with lgbt, anything like that?
