Introduction: Hello Meepers~

My name is Megan, although my IGN is LadyLaruto, you may refer to me as either. I am eighteen years old, and I graduated high school in the June of 2015, and went straight into a community college the immediate fall season. Currently, I am in my second semester, and pursuing my Business Administration degree.

I come from a large family, with eleven siblings, five of them being immediate and not half siblings. I currently live with my mom, step-dad, older sister, younger sister, and two little brothers. Although I am apartment hunting with a good friend of mine.

Throughout my high school career, I played in every brass section of the band, and played percussion during marching band. I played softball, and was a member of the chess, and the anime club as well.

I was very sickly throughout middle school and high school, and spent a majority of my time inside of hospitals and doctors offices because of it. But, as cliche as this may sound, I was able to gain a new, more positive outlook on life. A more optimistic viewpoint, if you will.

I love to draw, and have been doing so since I was able to hold a crayon! I am also a Star Wars fans, and will often be caught making puns and jokes concerning these movies. Also a fan of the Avengers, and I've seen the movies, the team members' separate movies, and have some of the merchandise.

So in general, I am a nerd, and a bit of a goofball, but I love interacting with people, and making new friends.

Why should you be Helper? Well, let us begin with how I got here in the first place. New Years came around, and I was searching for a server to play on. I stumbled upon Meepcraft, and joined. I loved the minigames, and played them frequently. But it was not until later, that I joined Towny. I was immediately welcomed into a town, which I was ecstatic about. It took no time for me to make friends, and adjust, and come to love Meepcraft!

Let's start off with the quality I feel is the most important in a staff member; patience. I am a very patient person, and it takes a lot to upset me, or anger me. I am a good peer mediator, and argument settler because of how patient I am.

Kindness is another quality that I have, as confirmed by some friends I have made on the server. I try my best to welcome every newcomer, and greet the returning players. I also make myself available to anyone that wishes to talk. I reach out a helping hand as much as I possibly can, which I feel is a very important component of a staff member.

Activity. I am on for at least one hour every day, and check the forums daily as well. I talk with friends privately, and through TS, as well as through global chat.

Knowledge of commands. Okay, I will admit, since I am still fairly new to the server, I do not know EVERY command. But I have made an effort to look through and check out the commands available through /help, to make sure I am familiar with them.

So in conclusion, I am active on the server, lend a helping hand when I can, and love to be social. This server is the best one I have ever played on. I would love to help make it better, and keep it pure of any hate, or any bad in general.

What are your weaknesses? First and foremost, I should mention my AFKness. Now, although it is not often, nor frequent, it will happen on short notice, and I tend to forget to tell everyone. As mentioned in my Introduction, I am part of a big family. When my mother says there is something that needs to be done, that task more often than not defaults to me or my older sister. So I will be rushed into action to help out.

I will admit this, I am quite sensitive. That can be a good thing, but for the majority of cases, it is often a bad thing. So I put this here. As kind as I am, it can be easy to confuse me, or hurt me. That can take me aback at times, and can cause a few issues.

Finally, stress. This is something that is not super common, but also not rare. If I am tasked with too many things at once, I tend to become flustered, stressed, and rushed. I feel like I have to perfect everything I am tasked with, and if I cannot, it poses an issue to me, and causes stress. But with help from friends or teammates, it is something that is easily irrelevant.

So ends the weaknesses of mine. I am there, but may go AFK without notice. Me, being sensitive, can be fragile, but that does not stop me from much. Stress is hard to handle, but not impossible for me if I have a good support group, which on Meepcraft, I do not think would be a problem.

Please give any other information you might think is useful for us to know: I reached admin on an old server, before it was shut down due to money issues. We were a small, but close community. But me saying this is not in hopes of getting a better chance, but just a way for you to know I do not believe in abusing my power or authority.

You've been here just over a month, sorry but that is no where near enough. Knowing how to help is good, but first you need to get involved with the community and become active on all aspects (seen you a few times in game, but never on ts or forums).

I have had nothing but excellent interactions with you on TeamSpeak and in-game, and I see that you are active on both, which are two more +'s! You are such a nice, caring, mature, and helpful person to others! <3

Hai girl! You are extremely nice and mature. I have nothing but good things that I've seen from you.
You should check out forums once in awhile, but other than that you are one of the few people on the server who
would benefit the server because you have most of the essential things that is looked for in a Helper. I hope to see you soon, love you my friend! And goodluck! <3

According everyone else, you seems like a nice person. I haven't met you yet, but I would love to! The app was good, but my issues with you are the facts I really haven't seen ya online(timezones) so I don't have strong opinion about ya. But i'm still gonna wish you luck and leave +/-.

 

tbh this looks more like bias than it does an actually constructive post.

Laruto, while you seem like a nice person, that's not the only quality a helper needs. I've only seen you on TS and in global (only a few times there) and a couple forums post. You've only been really active a week or so that I've seen.

You should try to be super active for at least several months after joining to apply. I'd like to see a lot more out of you.

 

You seem like a nice person that's willing to help, but unfortunately I have to -1 simply because you yourself stated that you are still unfamiliar with all the commands and you've been only been here for give or take one month, apart from this application you only have six other different forum posts and it may just be timezones, or the fact that I myself don't use TS that often but I feel like you're not involved with the community yet. My advice would be to give it some time and don't be discouraged if you don't make it on your first try, I definitely think you have potential.
So in conclusion, get to know the server a little bit more, start being more involved on the forums and keep being a positive member to the server and I'll change my vote to a +1 next time.

KlutchDecals Applied for helper a month after he join, and now he's one of the best admins we have/ever have had. Yes the amount of time you've been on the server matters, however its does not determine ones capability to help.

 

When Klutch applied it felt like he'd been here for years because of how much he'd gotten himself out there. I'd also seen him plenty on both forums and teamspeak. I have never seen LadyLaruto on either. Also, note how I said the important thing was 'Getting involved with the community'.
No, it doesn't determine your ability to help, but I'd never want someone unknown to be a part of the staff team.
