Please help rank disappeared after I changed my mc username!

Ok so people started talking about usernames being able to be changed since its after feb fourth and I changed my username to sirrr_fuzzlr xD lolol... anyways.... my elite rank is gone! At first i couldnt join meepcraft then i logged in on my acc. on minecraft.net. Then I joined on again and i was at donator spawn of course.. every move i made it said u do not have permission for this area! I had elite! Vpardo, Cdog1579, Cleaves, Sairis, and others KNOW I HAD ELITE! Please give me my rank back! Im sure its just a small error but id love to have my privileges back! Please fix very soon!

 

As explicitly stated by Onis, you lose your rank when you do this. Support for keeping a donator rank will be fixed in a later update (soon hopefully). Unless you have the receipt or someone has proof you were Elite...

 

No i dont think i do... but I have others like cleaves and maybe onis himself know i was elite... and bigdaddyjoseph does too

I didnt know at all. Ive been out all day and realized name changing was available! I didnt check anything! I just chnaged my name!

 

A screenshot of you as Elite may suffice, however I am not staff any longer so don't take my word for it.

 

Try checking old threads reporting hackers, (more recent, threads with vids or screenies from when u had ur rank) Ik u had elite, I'll check my screenies to see if I find evidence that might do.

IT does work. You can change your name after 30 days, and your old name is held for 37, giving you an extra week to change it back if you change your mind.

I JUST REMEMBERED: if u go to the donate pg and type my name then it has a discount on supreme and ult! So that's the really best proof I can find

 

If you were to donate for supreme it would only be $80. I changed my name on my alt which was a vip and I lost vip. I just got a $10 rank upgrade on it today, I was planning to get Vip again but I got premium for $10. So, if you had the money you could just donate for supreme ;3

Your rank will be restored on it's own once the ranks are converting. Until then we will not honor rank requests on this topic due to the warnings we're giving out. So you're stuck waiting until it's all finished, but it is being considered a priority and is being worked on, so you'll have to be patient.
