Introduction: Hey everyone! It’s BobJonCreeper or BobJon for short. I’ve been playing Minecraft for about 3 years now and it’s still yet to get tiresome. Besides my eternal love for Minecraft, I like to write poetry, go swimming, or hangout with friends. I’m 14 years young, I live in the sunshine state of Florida, and am currently the 9th grade. I am enrolled in all 10th grade honors classes(core) with Spanish 2 Honors and Digital Design. I am in a plethora of clubs, including Drama club, where I am competing at Districts in October, along with a few of my fellow club mates! Other than that, I’m pretty down to earth and if you ever wanna chat, don’t be afraid to send me a message! J

Why you should be Mod:


Experience: Since becoming Helper, I have dealt with a myriad of cases ranging from Advertisements to Theft. With over 500 completed modreqs within the short 5 weeks I have been on the Staff team, I have observed quite a lot of broad and individual cases/questions. I feel as though I am ready to tackle challenges more in-depth and challenging.


Dedication: From the moment I arrive home from school, throughout the rest of the day, I am on Meep. I will most likely be on for the rest of the day, or get on when another staff needs help. My weekends are usually chock-full of Meep too! I always try to get on when I can, whether it be the few minutes I have early in the morning before school, or the little time at night before I go to bed. I always try to get on, if at all possible.


Work Ethic: At the moment I get on, the first instinct my mind reminds me to do is /check. I have made myself remember to check as soon as I get on or sometime close by that time. I’ll do modreqs throughout the time I spend on, occasionally doing Player Reports when modreqs are done and seem to stop coming in. I always answer questions asked in /msg to me (unless you spam or are rude). I find it fun to help others and wish to continue to do so. :3


Involvement: As stated above, I am on every single day, for at least an hour. I do my Staff duties first but also don’t forget the meaning I came onto Meepcraft, to have fun. Which even as a Staff and the work I do, I’ve found it to be enjoyable alongside doing other activities in Meep.


Weaknesses:

• Maturity - Although I like to think I am rather mature for my age, I do have a little fun with the community and joke around. But hey, everyone deserves to do that every now and then. Like bluecarneal says, “Staff can have fun”.

• Carried away – Sometimes I get carried away when on and forget to do /check every so often like I usually do. This happens mainly when focused on something like a build I’m doing or another task I’m to do.

• Impatience & Temperament – At times I can be rather impatient when either handling a case or doing other activities. Sometimes this can lead to a rather short-temper that I’ve been trying to control, but sometimes I just gotta go cooool down.

Conclusion: Since becoming a part of Meepcraft’s wondrous Staff team, I have maid many friends, within the staff team and in the general community. I hope I have shown my true self enough to allow you to see what I am capable of. Thank you for taking the time to read my application! All constructive-criticism or comments welcome below! When someone told me to commit suicide and seriously harrassed me, you did nothing, just warned the player. I needed a mod to temp the player.
Also, I didn't even know you until you were helper. Your app is nice, but for now, -1

Kicked me for harassment when I told him that he needs to learn why people dislike him.(I received no warning )

Sorry for posting again, but you can't just temp ban the guy. You could have filed a report or something. Staff try to be fair and warn everyone to stop first.

Please define your 'fair'
When you're dealing with depression and someone tells you to commit suicide, and that everyone will be happier with your death, especially your mum, whom is with him right now... Well, that does t seem 'fair' to me.

 

How are we as Staff supposed to know your life?
We try to treat everyone as equals. We couldn't have known you have depression or not.

It is not easy to keep track of everything that happens in chat.
Especially when someone is harassing another player. You focus on what they are saying and might lose track of something someone says in /msg

 

Well actually, the way my screenies tell the story, we were having a fluent conversation, and when I said I had depression, you replied straight away and actually kept talking with me.
