Keeps Griefing My Town Spawn In Beta

Summary: Caught griefing my town spawn once, was let off the hook only to be mean and do it again.
Evidence:



Cooleysworld hawkeye the crime scene, finding no clues leading to any perpetrator, thus concluding the towny itself has some sick vendetta against towns. Destroyed portal and repaired damaged caused.



Suddenly strikes again ruthlessly without warning, has some sort of hax to get around towny permissions.

 

On a more serious note, I'll see what I can do - There's got to be something.

 

Maybe you should try and build a nether portal nearby, like under your spawn.

I'm pretty sure a new portal wouldn't form if there's one nearby.

 

I hate to do it, but Ohdraqq has told be via skype that he did this.

 

I went through a portal in beta nether, and ended up comming through this portal.

 

So, just trying to get this straight to better understand the issue, your towny portal will destroy itself on one block? Has this happened at all since you filed the initial report?

 

What happens is a nether portal will suddenly appear, so far 3 times in my /t spawn area, so far in 3 of the 4 corners, roughly. However, I took the suggestion above us, made one under the spawn and buried it, so far has solved the problem.

But generally, a nether portal would just pop up randomly.

 

Just saying, you should mine a few blocks on either side of the portal to fit a person just so that you don't end up accidentally trapping someone in there.

 

Since this has been generally resolved i'll move this to resolved still relaying the information to our techs. Thank you for this.
