get rid of chat tax

hi I talk a lot and it's usually in segments because I don't like giant paragraphs and type pretty quickly. It's pretty annoying that I lose money for talking what, 4 times in a span of 30 seconds? why is there a tax on this anyway.

I get it can make spambot citizens shut up after they run out of the 3,000 they start with but wouldn't you have kicked them before then anyway? The money isn't even going towards anything it's just penalty for interacting with the rest of the server. I haven't been a fan since it was added like two years ago and it's really annoying now that meebles are worth more and I lose like 2k a day just from chatting.

I'm not even the most talkative person online usually!! I can't imagine how much everyone else is losing for no reason. If you're gonna tax us, atleast make it go to lottery or something. Don't just throw meebles out of the economy.

Like I said in my suggestion thread, I feel like spamming is best dealt with by a staff member.

I don't believe that the chat tax plugin really fulfills its purpose, as a spam bot citizen can shout quite a few times before running out of meebles. There are also different ways that a spam bot can fill the chat with spam before being subjected to taxes. +1

 

-1 Takes money out of the economy. People who tend to write in global have a lot of money anyway.

 

however much I hate to see a -100 meebles shout tax in my chat it does take money out of the eco. and it makes it so cooleys doesn't purge 2 mill

I'm only an Arch lol. We make so much in voting its not noticeable.

Think there's probably a better way to pull money from the eco, +1 on removing it, it's really discouraging for new players asking questions too. (and it doesn't serve it's actual purpose, I could spam around 6,000 times before running low on cash and I'm not even rich)
