    Bug: Halo texturepack

    IGN: CasualMow

    Date of Bug: 1/3/2018

    Summary of Bug: Pretty much crashes your game when you join and I cant get on the server unless I'm tp'ed out of halo

    Evidence of Bug:

    Additional information: No evidence is necessary BECAUSE ME NOT BEING IN THE GAME IS PLENTY OF EVIDENCE

    go to servers, click meep, click "edit" then turn off resource packs

    or disable all other resource packs and let the game load the pack and don't touch it until its done

    This is caused by a combination of the speed of your connection, the speed of the Halo server, and the speed of the server holding the texture packs. If the texture pack download time exceeds that of the timeout, then you essentially get kicked. I'll look into ways of extending this timeout, but I cannot at this time guarantee a solution other than what was mentioned above.

    Just go to the edit button in your servers list, and click "Resource Packs" --> "Disabled"

    you should give the player a text link to the actual pack. you can get it by clearing out your serverresourcepacks folder in .minecraft and then join halo on meep then rename the file to a .zip on the end of the name and then make a download link for that. something like meepHalo.zip

    this is of course just my opinion, but the pack isn't necessary at all
    and it doesn't look good
    so I just have it disabled. Less lag, right?
