New Perks and others

I am just gonna write down a list that i can think of. Others can decide what ranks should have them if any are accepted.

• No ender pearl damage
• Second chance (Player has a %10 to fully heal when their life reaches 3 hears or lower)
• Nicknames.
• Ride players.
• Pets.
• Magic Carpet : MagicCarpet
• The higher your rank, the harder it is to get a head from that rank (related to pvp).
• Return of /feed, since we do not follow the EULA (i do /feed at supreme rank and it says upgrade ur rank for it).
• /ast (Armour stand tools).
• Able to change the weather.
• /stack make higher ranks be able to stack more then 64 items, or more then 16 items if its an ender pearl for example. From rank order, higher ranks should be allowed to stack a significant more then 64, while lowers can stack more then 64 but not as much if you get what i mean.

To get people to stay on longer, add some sort of time that if a players is moving around doing some sort of activity in the server (not afk) when they reach a limit they get a reward/money.

Sorry if some are already accepted or denied or whatever. I did not read any other suggestions, i just wrote what was on my mind, so don't roast me.

 

Umm that's not how suggestions work, but I'll put my two cents on this

-Ender Pearl Damage: this is disabled in towny I think, to prevent people from going to private areas
-Second chamce: elite+ has /heal already, this would just make pvp more unfair
-Nicknames: this would just make people confused and some people want to change names to silly stuff (see our discord for example)
-Ride players: would be cool in spawn
-Pets: If I recall correctly, there was a plugin for this but it caused problems
-Magic Carpet: sorry don't have time to read
-Heads: some people want their own heads and get someone to behead them. This will just make the process more difficult for ranked players
-/feed: harms economy
-/ast: would be cool, but this could be used for duping
-/pweather: suggestions of this have been denied multiple times, due to lag it could cause
-/stack +1

Overall, these have mostly been denied in the past and I don't even remember why, but it would be difficult to implement most of the plugins according to the higher staff.

 

By that the nickname has to have a limited character space, and the real name will just be next to them. This is basically like a small tag or something like that.

Doesnt mean that it can be implemented as a small perk in wild and other areas.

And for the head suggestion, there could be a switch off command for those who dont want it, or want to turn it off short term for beheading, but most people dont want their heads to be given away if they are high ranked etc.
And if a plugin caused a problem, im sure the tech can find a way to make it work fine next timw??

 

I love a lot of these suggestions, so let's get into it.

I actually like this idea, and think it would be more fun to use epearls, putting demand on them, increasing the flow in the economy.

Don't know what I think of this, because it could ruin fights in Wild over the supply chest.

Nicknames just make chat too confusing, really.

This was suggested some time ago, but was denied due to being unnecessary.

Indifferent about pets, because they don't really do anything, but can be a nice touch.

I don't really care for this, because some players want their head to drop so they don't have to pay 10k in the server shop.

I completely agree this should be added. I was thinking it could be made a an Elite or Supreme+ perk due to the new economy, and those ranks being less beneficial as before.

We're planning to add this back, just need to fix some duplication glitches with it. It is already in Creative.

This has been suggested before, and our techs are taking a look at it.

This can be a bit buggy if a player's inventory glitches.

I've played something like this before, and people just build afk machines. Sure, you can catch them, but it can be such a pain to force tp to everyone on the server to make sure they're not abusing something like this.

 

I have to agree with these sentences. It isn't going to be easy to get this accepted, but I wish you good luck! And I would like to add in my computer is being kind of slow and I have deleted a couple posts I have posted on this one. But again good luck.

 

Ender pearls are disabled to avoid tresspassing. If there was a way to fix it to make it impossible to tresspass or something then sure, but seeing as it's a minecraft bug and not a meepcraft bug, I dont think it's possible to fix

This would have to be a higher rank perk, or maybe even just a reduced damage in certain events perk (Like supremes only get half fall damage than normal)

Moderating would be a giant pain as well as keeping player IGN's in track. Even if you're talking about a title (like replacing your rank with a nickname) It's gonna be a pain to moderate and just issues

Eh, I don't like this. It's a collectible thing, theres no real reason for this other than to keep your head safe and this doesnt really make it safe. Plus its annoying when done on purpose

Although I do think that the higher ranks should have it because we need more donations and so there are a pretty large amount of Elite players atm.

I'm pretty sure I've seen suggestions for all of these get denied, some are useless, others impractical and unnecessary and I wouldn't like to see them implemented.

Ride players-I liked this one and if /gadget gets added back I support it being in there. Otherwise, just as a perk.. nah.
Pets-Been done in the past. Always a problem somewhere along the line that makes it not worth it. But hey they were cute

honestly no, even though I have been off for a while I can safely say that someone losing 10 meebles in their business a day wont kill em.

Food is too easy and sells for practically nothing. (I'd say do /feed with 5-10 minute cooldowns so they must buy food once in a while so it doesn't 'harm' the economy as much

 

I like new suggestions for rank perks. I frequently state that elite is $40 more for /nv and an extra row of /chest is not worth the money. That isn't me just saying it either. Just look at what elites get for $40 it's pure neglect. I'm not asking for a boat load of perks but give us something so the money we spent long ago doesn't go to waste now.

+1 for no ender pearl dmg.
+1 for riding players. Some people have said it is unnecessary but come on as if /hat is necessary.
+1 for /feed. lower ranks have been hurt by the Eula that is now being broken anyway.
+1 /ast (I don't honestly know what it does but I want to see.)

 

Ast stands for armor stand tools - essentially you can make armor stands pose like mannequins

 

Feed wasn't returned not due to EULA, but to it ruining the eco. Whether this is true or not, considering how cheap and available food is, is a different question, and I honestly think it wouldn't do much damage to bring it back, but would add another worthy perk to the donator list.

As said above, ast stands for armor stand tools, and this was removed because it had a duping glitch in it, and as far as I understand should come back once it's fixed. I do like the idea of it being made a perk though.
