Hi all, I'm new!

My name is Isabella, or Izzybellau. I am an art and economics student in Los Angeles, California. I've been playing minecraft for more than 5 years now and am very experienced in economy/towny servers, having moderated and administrated them in the past. I am a simple farmer most of the time, but I hope I can engage in more social or risky practices on this server. I need to stop playing it so safe!

I look forward to interacting with this community more and more as time goes on, and apologize for the formality of this introduction, but I am basically a puritan when it comes to social interactions on the internet

P.S. Quick question I was hoping someone could answer: is it possible to sell goods to the server with a command like /sell hand or something? Or can one only sell goods through shops or other players?

To answer your question, we do have a Vshop, that you can sell what is in your hand. in game it would be: /Sell [qty] Hand [price]. This does put it up in the shop, and you won't get Meebles from it, until someone buys it from the Vshop.

Other ways to make meebles is through Jobs. when in game use /Jobs Help to see what is available.

Thanks for asking! I am currently in a more rigorous artistic program, but I honestly enjoy economics more I plan on taking more focus on the economics in the future.

I admined for eco servers before I began pursuing economics education, so I suppose you could say that it served as an inspiration. The concepts definitely transfer over, though! Its kinda fun to apply classroom teachings to real world examples. I guess I'm a nerd like that

To answer your question in more of an economic viewpoint: we used to have server sell shops, but it didn't work because people mass-produced items and there was an economic inflation. The only item that you can sell to the shop is gold ingot/gold block. Good luck

Art classes at higher levels becomes less about technicalities and more about conceptual growth. They begin to teach less of the "whats" and "hows" and more of the "whys", if that makes any sense. I preferred the figure drawings over conceptual modern art and all that, but that's just me I guess

In all technicality, yes! The last 2 years of a 4 year art school have classes that are each based on different ages of art history and art theory, so it forces new perspectives in art making. But everyone's experience is slightly different in what they take. I'm still taking more technical classes at the moment...
