OK im on my computer now and I know the application was weak but I was seen a lot of "weak" ones get accepted

The thing you say about pornographic gifs is untrue. I just searched every channel to the beginning of the channel history and none of the gifs were even of anything close to pornographic besides 1 gif of breasts because Deinen and I were experimenting actresses.

that is the plan Andrew i'm not looking at the past I'm just looking ahead. That's why I hadn't addressed my ban history in my app like I usually did & I know that we don't have the best personal relationship but I'm all about fixing that if you're okay with it.

 

But that's not how you're supposed to react to people who disagree with you. As a staff member, you will have some detractors of your work. Calling them "haters" is quite immature and doesn't show that you're open to opposing opinions.

My reasons for -1 is what Deljiko said, spreading under aged nudes of a fellow Meeper? That's illegal in real life, not just Meepcraft. I do not think I can trust someone with this record to have access to all of our records. You also have the highest ban rate out of any Meepers. These are my reasons. Merry Christmas!

But just yesterday in discord you brought up something as kind of a joke @madioson had told you and meant for you to keep private, which i knew what it meant, and i have no idea why you brought it up. I do NOT want you trusted with this job, and i cant believe june trusted you, her mistake, but even thought i found out what happened, im not going to judge her, because whats happening to me right now, is exactly what you did to her

you shouldn't joke around on your own staff application, it looks like you are being the smart one and most people don't like that.

 

I think I've only spoken with you a few times, and you seem like a really nice person I guess, but based on what I have read here I do not believe you to be qualified for a staff position. Here are my thoughts:

Your introduction is supposed to let people know who you are, what type of person you are, etc. You shouldn't be able to do that in only four sentences. Tell us more about yourself, we don't want to be +1'ing a player we know next to nothing about!

1. Your job as a staff member is to better the server and help it in the long run. That should be your main goal, not making the team better just by being on it or just to give yourself the satisfaction of being on the team.
2. Another problem I have with this is that you seem to be trying to promise people things that you can't back up, for instance saying that you would have a chance to do [blank] once you get on the team. Why don't you just do it beforehand so you have experience and can continue doing that?
3. Um. How about not having any bans in the time that leading up to when you apply? It's great that you've learned from your mistakes, but you should work on not making as many instead of priding yourself on the fact that you've only had a certain number of bans, because it seems like you're meaning to say, "Hey, at least I didn't have as many as usual!" Oh wait. That's kinda what you were doing
4. Don't tell the staff what they should be appreciating about you just to get onto the team lmao. It is good that you'd be on at times when there are usually no staff on. That makes only two good things I see so far.

It's great that you're working on being more mature. But based on the parts I underlined, you're just making more promises based on what might happen, without anything to back it up.

I agree with what every single person who has -1'd has said.

Heyo VKL!

So, I've heard a lot about you. Mainly, your bans. I've heard about your ban history, and how you most likely have the most bans than anyone. You probably are ready to be helper, from what I've seen in chat, you've been acting a bit better than before. However, I don't trust you as much as others do. From what I've heard from someone (not mentioning names), you gave away private information that was told to you from someone who didn't want it to be released. You told others, and thats just messed up. I don't have much trust in you, even if I wasn't told about this. You're a nice guy, but I think you should wait out a month or two to see if you've actually improved since the last ban you've had. And don't release information that shouldn't be released, cause who knows if you'll do that as a staff member.

You've only changed for about a few months. And that's the amount of time I've seen you do before and then get banned again. I can't believe you are an honest player. From talking to people and seeing you time to time I haven't seen anything that makes you stand out.
He's a good player. But the standards are higher than "good."
You aren't going out of the way to help people and you don't have an outstanding attitude.

Im not saying you can't do it but there seems to be a double standard where muunkee did a lot of similar things you did to a lesser degree but had to work a hell of a lot harder because she's less popular.

I never hold anything that happened outside of meep against someone but you brought it to meep. You also posted humiliating pictures of staff in the past. Not cool.

My main things is that most of these +1s are because you're not banned and haven't been for a few months
Neither am I. Doesn't make me staff material. It makes me a decent member of the community. It's not impressive.
You also have very poor impulse control. If you learn of a dupe are you going to keep yourself from using it?

Give yourself 2-3 months. Be positive, be helpful. Try adding value to the community in any way you can. You have successfully lost your old reputation. Congrats. Now go make yourself a new one with points that are positive instead of the fact you are finally a decent player.

And if you're accepted. Be ready for WORK. It's not a fun little club, it's a job.

I've spent a good amount of time thinking about this. All day, actually. I leave no votes, only thoughts. To start, there was the issue of your application.

I will be the first to confess I don't know you on a personal level. This really doesn't help me at all, either. I want to know a lot more about you in this. What other interests do you have outside of the game? What do you like to do when you're in-game? How did you find the server, and what made you stay? Basically, I want to hear your story. An introduction should tell me exactly how you are, give me a hint of your personality, and help me to understand the logic you use in every situation. This introduction doesn't really give me any of that.

Again, this doesn't give me any strong reason to support you. You would like to be a part of the staff team to give you something to do, but what happens if you become bored of that, too?

I don't care a bit about your banhistory over the last three years, because, let's be honest, people change. They do it all the time. I am only looking at the last 2-3 months, the only relevant time period to now. I understand the sentiment greatly. I myself am one of those newer members. I don't see why huge numbers of bans from last year even should be held against a person like a permanent record that you can never be redeemed of. Still, opinions of those who have seen been with you over that amount of time should be taken into account.

This in itself is a huge concern I must bring forth. You are friends with a lot of people, and have talked about just about everything. Having lots of friends is fine, it's a good thing, actually. But if you spill secrets told to you privately in a one-on-one conversation with your friends, how can you be trusted to keep things secret that should be kept within staff conversations? This isn't something from years ago, but in the last month.

I fail to see how the server's current need for developers means we should suddenyl deny people applying for other positions. I do agree with some of this, though, how do you plan to talk to people from the past who only know you from the past? Every other day, we have someone "come back" from long ago, so I'm curious to hear how you plan to talk to those who you might deem as "haters."

This section was also fairly weak. It would have been the perfect area to discuss your ban history, and how you have moved past that.

Why is this even a factor when applying for Helper? You don't hire someone for one position, because they have ideas for a higher position.

It doesn't matter how weak someone else's app was who got accepted. "Always do more than is required of you." Just because someone else had a weaker app, doesn't mean it's fine for all apps to be weak.


I think you have a lot of potential. You know the rules, you know the players, you have the experience. I want to see more, though. I want to see a solid amount of consistency, that tells me without a doubt you've changed permanently.

 

as one of the few people left that have seen vkl in his prime, i don't think people actually realize what many people have sacrificed to allow this guy to be part of the community

he has ruined many people's trust, broken a lot of promises, made a lot of bad deals, broken a lot of rules, etc...

you've been a part of this server for a long time. one of the only people from the time i was around as well. you've seen this server go up and down, and the fact that you have come back shows quite the amount of loyalty.

when in positions of power, you have shown to be immature, abuse permissions, etc... you were honestly a joke of the entire staff team time and time again. your name was synonymous with any toxic player/toxicity case.

even after your obscene amount of bans... you are still here....

it's amazing to see where you are now compared to your starting position. you've actually tried to obey the rules to an extent, and are maintaining a good attitude with other players from what i have seen.

with all this in mind, i honestly do not think you can handle it again, but the helper role exists for a reason...

you deserve a chance because you've already been give so many
