Introduction: Greetings Meepcraft staff and community. This is my application! If any of you all have read my previous applications, they tend to be on the shorter side due to my preference of getting to the point, so do not be alarmed when the "Why" may not be a dissertation! Aside from that, I am going into my senior year of high school, and I am looking to study broadcasting in college. I have participated in my school newspaper and yearbook, and I look forward to another great year. If you wish to know more, I strongly encourage you to message me in game, on forums, or on Skype (username: aldwaka).

Why should you be Helper? In my past two times as Helper and Moderator, I have proven my ability in a staff environment. I consider myself to be a consistent leader in the community, and in my time as staff, I have transferred that leadership into my work as well. Consistency and accuracy are two very different things, but I value both greatly. My ability to accurately assess situations in the community is a skill of mine, and my consistency in handling them properly has shown. I believe I can continue to work efficiently and progressively on the staff team.

What are your weaknesses? Patience is a great weakness of mine, yet I am actively working to improve upon it.

Humor can get the best of me sometimes, and often I do not realize when my humor is taken too far. Again, I have been working on this, and great improvement has been made.

Please give any other information you might think is useful for us to know: I understand that this application is quick after my return, but I believe I can rejoin the team with few bumps.

As much as I would love you on the team this application was rushed. It was not okay, it was bad. But looking at your past apps writing was never your strength.

You've risen up from someone who had no control of their attitude and looked down on everyone, now some people look up to you and you need to take on this position again.

Now I normally don't address replies due to looking "desperate," but I'm not, so think what you must. I did put the time I believed was necessary into this application. You're right, I am not the best at filling out the true size of a good application, but I have a strong tendency of not including fillers in my applications. I include what is necessary and what shows my potential. I believe I incorporated all necessary information about myself to structure an application.

Of course im a +1! Id be a fool not too lol. When I first had an interview you tried your best to make me feel welcome and comfortable about what to do, and even offered to hold my interview, which honestly made me a lot calmer to have a buddy do it. Klitch I know you just came back, but that's what you said would happen. Anyone would say "Oh this break made you bad and forget"
But I know you don't forget, I know you. You and I haven't talked much recently which is sad but theres no reason for me to not +1 you because you were such an amazing mod, friend, and teacher. YOUVE GOT THIS!

Klitch, you were an amazing staff member, but that is no excuse to have such a poor application.
I'm going to have to go with +0.75 for now due to the fact that you were a great leader when you were previously staff and did a great job of serving the community.

You have a strong sense of maturity, and you're a very hard worker. You are definitely capable of handling the job once more and serving the community.

you've only just came back, haven't saw you in weeks
you stirred up stuff in shout a few times before
whole application just seems cocky (in which cockiness was one of your weaknesses on your last app and appears you haven't tried to work on that), lack of effort - even to the point of being lazy enough to not include single reference

 

To address the last part, I don't think references have any weight or influence on an app. If I were a terrible candidate, 30 references would mean nothing. If I were a great candidate, 5 would mean nothing. And finally, if I'm an average candidate, none would mean nothing just like the rest of the options. I don't see any point in asking people for their permission to put their name on an app. If they support, we have plenty of ways to show that, including talking to a staff member or commenting on the app. I appreciate your feedback, and I hope this helped.

Maybe lack of instruction would have been a better weakness.

 

You seem cocky in your application (you put zero effort into it, let's face it), just came back, and sucked up to get promoted last time around. Plus, I don't really think your opinions and desires for the server are where it needs to go, and would prefer not to see you having influence over any decision-making.

first of all welcome back bud

second of all, yes, you did just come back and yes, your application is short (as all of your other applications), but you've proven to be a great staff member in your time as staff. you are efficient, equitable, and you got the job done well, no matter the job. right from the get go you seemed like you knew what you were doing, even though it was early on in your staff time. you did list patience and how humor can get the best of you sometimes, and i do agree with those. get online some more, and you'll make a great candidate.
