Introduction: Hello my name is Adam, and I was introduced to Meepcraft by my friend Meeeeyow. When I joined the server the first game I joined was Towny. After a couple of days, I was getting used to this server and becoming part of its community. I am in 5th grade at Weaver Elementary School. I have good grades at my school and the sports I play are tennis and handball. I also have a pet dog that I take for walks. Every weekend I go on Meepcraft. If I am not playing Meepcraft, I like spending my time playing drones. I know I am in 5th grade, but just because I am young doesn't mean I can't help. One day I decided I was ready to be helper.

Why should you be Helper? I should be a helper because I don't want to be an ordinary player I want to help new players out. I am also very nice and I want to welcome the new players that join Meepcraft. I don’t like seeing new players confused and not knowing what to do. If a person asks for help, I would reply right away. If there are modreqs I would help the team to answer them. I also think I should be helper because if I see spamming or bullying I would tell them to stop. If I was helper I would help before playing. When I go on Meepcraft I want to see people playing nicely. My goal as helper is making players in Meepcraft nice to other players. I am active in Meepcraft and want to spend my time helping instead of playing. I know you can help people even though you are not helper. I want to go beyond helping and do modreqs and other things. I would also want to make a difference on this server.

What are your weaknesses? My weaknesses are talking in Teamspeak using my real voice. In Teamspeak I would reply only on chat more than talking. I know people in Meepcraft and is okay to talk to them in chat but I don't know them in real life and I am afraid to use my voice.

You seem really nice, and pure of heart. But, I don't think you're ready for the responsibilities that staff gives you. Forums and Teamspeak activity are also a very vital part of being staff. I'm just gonna tell you the cliche, "You don't need the Helper tag to help". So for now I'm going to be a reluctant no vote.

How exactly is this relevant in any way to applying for helper?

you're going to need to be active a lot more than that that to be staff (unless you're Fuzzlr)

Learn proper grammar, saying "playing drones" is like saying that you're "playing sledding" or "playing bikes"

Overall, you don't seem like you actually put much effort into this, it's probably the most generic helper app I've ever seen. Also, you're only like 11, which means you probably aren't ready for the responsibility that comes with being staff. -1 from me.

Here's why:
1. Every weekend? Only weekday played is Friday? I'm sorry, but this isn't enough days of the week for the work staff does.
2. Maturity; the biggest weakness any possible helper. Reading this, I do not believe you are quite ready to apply for helper. If you look, not one staff member is below 13.
3. Improper grammar
I'd advise growing more comfortable with both the server, and the community. If you can't fully navigate the commands available to all players, how can you help operate the server? Get to know people! Talk to anyone and everyone, the general community here actually knows how to talk to people.

 

I saw you in my town the other day and overall you seem pretty nice! But you asked me lots of questions which leads me to believe you don't know a ton about Towny and lots of other things. Kind of naive to the server

I think you need to /shout a little more. I don't see you at all in teamspeak either and that's where we get to know you. Come in! We don't bite come talk to me if you want.

All in all I'm at a -1 but keep fighting the good fight!

 

Staff decides if you are staff, he decides if he's ready to apply.

It doesn't have to be, introduction is to tell people about yourself, not to explain why you applied for helper

That's actually grammatically correct, he's using "drones" as a noun. It's like saying "playing cards" or "playing ball". Some nouns sound weirder than other with the verb playing. You wouldn't say "playing bikes", you'd say "riding bikes". Also, "playing sledding" is using two verbs which is wrong. He's right in this sentence

He seems like he wants to help out and spent time to create an application for a server he enjoys. Age doesn't matter either, I've seen plenty of staff at the age of 10 with a lot of maturity.

As for the applicant, I think you're heading the right way. You seem like a chill dude, just get your name out more and work towards helping people whenever you can

You seem like a really nice kid, and I like that, but I haven't really seen you much on the forums or on the server. Improve on that and I'll change my vote later.

 

Honestly, you're pretty cool and you seem nice. But since you can only be on 3 days a week, I don't think you're quite ready to be staff yet.

It says your a member on forums, while this doesn't mean you need to be popular or anything, usally your a member if your not active on forums

1-2 hours on Friday is soooo little time.

 

Unfortunately even if it's for a good reason, you can't just not be online on those days. If you aren't able to be online it's probably not a good idea to be staff. Being a helper is like a real job. You don't get to decide what days you are on. You have to be available whenever someone needs you!
Work on your activity in all areas of the community and I think you could become a great staff member some day!

Hello, for me it is a -1 and here are the reasons why and how you can improve.

Unfortunately this is no where near enough time spent on meep to be a helper, try becoming more active.

No references?? You need references to prove that you're a credible candidate for the role.

Okay this is relatively okay, however you said 'one day I decided I was ready to be helper' and you don't decided that, yes you can think I think I have what it takes but you cant know for certain.

This is stronger than some but weaker than others, try answering the who, what, when, where, why, hows. and most of the things you said you can do as a ordinary player, e.g. you can help out new players, you can welcome new people, you can tell people to stop who are bullying. anybody can do that.

So as I said before your application stands at a -1 for me but if you work on you availability and come on meepcraft more then hopefully that might change.

Listen pal, you seem really sweet, and caring, but I don't think you're Helper ready, yet!

-You need to be on more than 3 days with more than maximum 5 hours.
-You're never on TS, Forums, or In-Game. (From what I see).
-I cannot judge your personalities because I have never interacted with you.
-I have a hard time thinking that a fifth grader would spot drug, or sexual references.
-No references, go make some Meep-y friends!
-If you want staff, tear through your boundaries!, talk to Meepers on Teamspeak!

Your activity, quite simply, will not ut it. You should be on daily and should be readily available daily.

I've also never seen you active. You seem to kinda sorta know what you're talking about but I think you need to be more active in the community and learn even more first.

Try being super active, daily if you can, and try again in a month or so.

 

I feel really bad for saying this but, your application was a bit short, it may be hard for you to be a Staff-Member if you're only on once a week, you'll probably need to use TeamSpeak a bit more than you do already, you seem like you know about the server; but maybe try to learn a bit more before applying again. Hey there, our biggest issue with this application is that none of us particularly know who you are. Activity is a large issue here, and staff need to be very active on many aspects of the server. Please reapply in the future when activity is increased! Have a great day.
