When did you join Meepcraft? I joined MeepCraft July, 20, 2015

Introduction: My current and permanent in-game name is Skibo44 i have just changed it a few days ago, but my last name was Lociv, but most people know me as Lucas as well. I turned 13 years old about two months ago, i have been playing Meepcraft for some months now, i have lived and currently am living in Brasil.

Why should you be Helper? So let's begin by explaning why i am experienced with this position. I am experienced with understanding how plug-ins and commands work, i have hosted my own personal Minecraft server with most minigames that are currently installed on the server. I have also worked for other servers that had similar systems to the Modreq system, which allows me to have a basic understanding of what it is about and how it works. By hosting my own server, i have gained plenty of experience with server consoles and in-game use of commands, as well as using common vanilla commands. I have been a staff member on two other servers throughout my Minecraft career, which also helped me bring an understanding on how to help players, by moderating and administrating. I have been from Helper and worked my way up to become a SeniorMod and Administrator.

It's already been about four or five months that i have been an official MeepCraft member, i am pretty known member throughout the community and i am also known by many of the current staff members. I usually am online everyday and every bit of extra time i have, during weekdays i pop up on meepcraft and i try to make the best out of that time. I am always welcoming new players to the server and always give them a heads up on where to start. I play meepcraft everyday for about (atleast) four hours, i am very active and dedicated towards the server and will continue to be.

I take this job seriously, and i will have big responsibility over it. I know the right mood and time to joke around, but i also know when to be serious and firm, i also have the knowledge of knowing when i should or should not take an action. I'm great with answering questions and clearing out doubts, and i am always straight to get the problem solved. I am very commited to MeepCraft. I usually am very calm in stressful situations and i try to keep the mood clean. I'm also always trying to assist people in a peaceful basic understanding way. I try to help as much as i can in Global, local and message, maybe if it's a question about something or what we can or cannot do, or maybe if they are having trouble with forums, commands or Teamspeak, i always try to assist players in whatever area i can. If you know me well you probably know i have a lot of tolerance with players, and patience as well. I am very respectful on Teamspeak, in-game and the forums. I have never had a conflict or a fight with any MeepCraft player and if they do want to get in a conflict with me, i usually try my best to avoid it, or sometimes i just listen to clarify things and calm the situation down. I am both mature in-game and teamspeak (which i get on everyday), i always tend to be as nice, firm, and helpful as i can. I am mature, active and helpful in all MeepCraft aspects. Helping players is what makes my day, it is something i just really like to do not just because it helps them but also makes me feel good about myself.

My success in helping and moderating in past server experiences, gave me a lot of advanced in-game knowledge in having this rank and, this working area. I believe and assure, my addition to the staff team, will be a good addition, i am always able to assist people and solve problems in a relaxed way. I won't ever forsake my conservative principles what so ever. I also have the capability of aiding players, and providing assistance, and support, to them, so they can feel comfortable, and learn how to cooperate with the server rules. I give players guidance, and advice to start playing meepcraft, which also helps benefit the servers looks and reputation in a good way.

What are your weaknesses? The biggest weakness i probably have is sometimes i can't accept when i'm wrong, maybe if i did something wrong i didn't mean to do and people tell me i did that wrong i usually keep on saying i'm right, even though i'm working on that and it's not really something that happens to often anymore.

Please give any other information you might think is useful for us to know: I have also lived in Las Vegas, Portland Oregon and Colombia Bogota. I am completely fluent in 3 languages; Spanish, Portuguese and mostly English, because my family is american. I am in 8th grade. Running is one of the sports i most like as well as soccer. I have moved from school to school five different times due to because like i said i have lived in 3 different countries, in more detail about that, My dads family is brazilian, my dad speaks English but the rest do not, now for my Moms family part, they live in PortlandOregon United States of America and the other part in Las Vegas Nevada as well. About sometimes ago i applied but decided to delete my application so i could work on things and help a little more fix my grammar, so i have made a completely new application, i proofread it fixed grammar and tried my best in helping as much as i could.

I am afraid you haven't even read my application... "I need to know commands" well, read the first paragraph of my application before saying that, because i have never helped you it does not mean i haven't helped anyone, and as i explained last time i didn't :lie" about how long i have been playing, if you look at my profile you will see i have joined July 20th do the maths, and i don't spend my time at kitpvp, i am usually in spawn all day, i just hop on kitpvp when i play with Fortevert and KorenHacker, and staff are aware i deleted my old application for the reason stated at the additional information, i'm not hiding anything. I am just trying to clarify things.

 

You acting like a smartalec does not help you here.

While your app was alright, I've never seen you before at all besides your previous app. Work on helping in /g, on forums, get on ts more.

Your 1st paragraph is about how you host your own server and you know how to handle with your OWN PLUGINS. Well Meep is very different. This is not your server.

This is not vanilla either. There are many commands to learn. Don't just know the basic commands. Learn the staff commands first. Know how to handle Prism and track logs of players.

Don't just say you are mature, active, and helpful. You DON'T EVEN REALIZE THAT SOMETIMES YOU ARE NOT BEING MATURE!

This is what munkee said. I agree. People take their time to read your application and give you tips (constructive criticism) and you treat them as if they are wrong. Also don't judge people by what they say. If I were you, I would suffer now and learn all commands and improve my attitude and then live as a Helper for the rest of my life.

Lucas, please consider everything I stated and use these tips in the future. I'm showing no hostility to you, rather helping you with all the improvements to work on.

 

helpers/mods dont really go into server code and crap etc, kind of irrelevant unless you're going for tech
