Introduction: I was just long waiting for this moment since I first realized this could be done. So here I am many months later, accomplishing what I set as a goal for my experience and personal accomplishments throughout life. I’ve been writing this application for a long time because I want you, the reader, understand better my reasons to apply.

This will be a sincere application thus not many of you know me well, but maybe have heard of me in-game, either way in global chat or maybe talking to you in personal messages.

Hello, my name is Patricia, I’m 20 years old and my origin starts way back in the 90s in Panama City, Panama. Most of you may refer to me as _awesome or Patty for those close people to me. I’ve been around Meep for over a few months already and this just opened my eyes to what I really wanted to accomplish in here.

My story on Meep have been full with laughs and lessons that will come with me to my rest place (unless I forget it by Alzheimer).

I’m a passionate person about accomplishing my goals in everything and that includes every game I play, no matter what, I’m called “too persistent” or people tell me to quit.

I’ve always been really creative, always loved drawing and painting. I was the best in art and music class, with high grades and honors as a model student. I’m passionate about music and really love every aspect of it no matter what genre it is. I play severe instruments and I keep learning some as piano, guitar, bass guitar, flute, drums (almost every kind of them), harmonic, and etcetera.

I started college at the beginning of September of 2015. My main career is industrial design, which is focused in design applied to products that are to be manufactured through techniques of mass production. So I could be drawing right now the phone you will be using in 2 or 3 years (no worries I will make it as you demand people).

I like to spend my spare time in Meep or sometimes playing any other game I like, I work at home so going out is not a very high possibility for me right now until I reach the weekends. Of course I got friends in “the outside world” but most of the time they come visit me. I know I might sound as a 40 year old woman, but I love my work and giving prompt responses to people, so I stay working until I know I’m finished. Right now I have a tight schedule because I go to college Thursdays and Fridays, but it’s just for a few hours so when I get home I take my 20 minute rest and relax hanging out in Meep.

I started school (kindergarten) when I was 3, so I’ve always been the younger in every class, further I had to grow up faster and be mature to take all that could come against me. I’ve worked to make myself and my mother proud since I was 17 years old in my last school year, where I studied Ports Services in a bilingual school. My real first experience attending people was at my first job with my aunt as her assistant, I used to work several hours, since 5 am up to 7 pm, even though I went home I had to take work with me and do the best to get some few bucks. As her assistant I had to attend all kind of people, from co-workers to international customers and company owners. Of course when you are 17 you think you know it all, and that it was the perfect job for me, but soon I realized I was not in the better place. As soon as I turned 18 I decided to look forward to my own things, (a house, a car, my own computer….) so I started looking for another job that I could accomplish with only a few months of experience, so I went to call centers which are very popular in my country.

In my 3 years in working on call centers I’ve learned that the most important thing to accomplish is being attentive and helpful, friendly and no matter what, forget about your needs and look towards the customers and people you are trying to help. I had to put myself together even thought I was not having the best time in my life, and was not able to leave my school days which were very different. So I tried to make my best and accomplished to be the best of agents in-floor in all my jobs.

I always tried to make friends because you can never go around alone, even though you think you can be the toughest person in world and you don’t need anyone to rely on. What I could learn of all the people around me and every single advice they’ve given me is that you should always be yourself no matter what.

I found Meep in dark times when I fell in a deep depression because my mom got really sick with cancer. That was around the beginning of 2015. Since I accomplished to move out from my mother’s house in early 2014 I could not be there with her as long as I wanted, and every time she got worst I did with her, since she is my best friend and my unconditional love. At first I went to several therapists and psychologists thus this was a hard experience to be overwhelmed with.

I found this excellent person who helped me out feel better and overall go in a journey of finding a good medicine that could lift me up. So here goes Meep.

Why should you be Helper? Since the first day, I found very kind people in here that made me realize I was wasting my time (and money) in other games overall. The very first impression Meep gives you is of a really helpful community, attentive and always available to help, whether is a recently joined mate or someone that comes from the “old Meep”. This is what surprised me the most since normally on-line games communities are always full of people looking after themselves and not making anything to improve their surroundings.

Yes, I want to be helper. Why? I could easily say “Because I want to help and I’m good at it” Sincerely that’s not a valid reason for me.

What helper means? To give assistance to (someone); make it easier for (someone) to do something; aid.

But helping and making things easier to people is not enough for me, I want to improve their personal experience within the server and making Meep the best server out there. Why not to bring people, right? Does helper got limited tasks? I don’t think so, we can go as far as we can, (and I don’t mean by this, hacking the server and violating rules; which I always respect) not to only help the people in the server but the server itself. I could easily go around doing modreqs and take the rest of the time for me, but I choose not to. This may sound like I won’t have a fun day in-game, but the fun of being a helper is to give everything for the others no matter what happen.

What are your weaknesses? Well, as many of the apps I’ve seen there is never a real weakness because most people won’t either accept it or they don’t know what it is yet.

By having this said, I feel that weaknesses are what makes us stronger in every other aspect, because it makes strengths stand out.

My main weakness is to be very sentimental, I really connect with people (even though this sound as a strength), but I might get too focused on the feeling side of the hurt person than in the real story. I also tend to believe I'm always right sometimes but I've learned to understand others and that we all have different opinions. I don’t mean by this, that this will affect me in every single problem I solve, but this is just to keep in mind.

Please give any other information you might think is useful for us to know: Because I didn’t want to make the main part of the application longer I will depict here my strengths as a human being and a person that is always willingness to be better every single day. I found them throughout my career life and will still polish them in the rest of it:

Most of these strengths I was not able to really see the potential in me until was sure I could accomplish them. So this is a great step to me writing down my strengths in here because I think that each one of you will know whether I have or not the staff potential.

Hi awesome,

Your application was stellar and many of your qualities tell me you would make an excellent helper. However, I've seen in game that you often misunderstand players' messages and react in an inappropriate manor. This can be detrimental to someone of the helper position as healthy interactions with players is a very large part of the position. For now I'm a no vote as I still think you have a good amount of potential.

You joined literally a week before I did. That means you've only been around on Meep for a little over 2 months. Are you sure you know all the aspects to Meepcraft?
Your app was sincere enough. But I feel like the app and how you usually act (from what I see, at least) shows two different people. Not completely, just different. How you respond to debates is clearly not the kindest. In any message that you post it seems as if you don't care, but that can be as much of a false statement as how I see you.

Jalapenos I know what you mean and I don't think I misunderstood anything. What happened with you was something that I never expected to happen in meep community. I don't say that you are a bad person. I think that you should change your mind and judgements over the other people work. I'm not anyone to say I hate you but I didn't feel comfortable about things you said. So I prefer to stay way.

 

I understand your point for sure. Not every post is the same and not every answer will be the same. I know the aspects of the server since I always try to get involved in here. I've always be active since first day willing to learn every aspect. But thank you I'll check on the aspects. If I'm not ready I wouldn't be posting this.

 

Thank you! Yes I know it's not long time like others. But I'm a really fast learner, and everyday I just learn new things. Every helper gets a training, so anything that I don't know I will learn it through training.

DUDE. Amazing app! I can see that you put a lot of time into this. I feel like you are very much qualified to be staff on this server. One thing I would like is to apply in a few months. That would be a HUGE +1 from me, but you're too new to the server. I give this a -1 for now, but the best of luck!

 

One thing I would suggest for the future, is you should put some more weaknesses. You had one (Which made it sound like a strength). I believe everyone has at least 5, and 2 maybe 3 would be great.

 

As said above. I believe, that in the future, you would be great staff material. However, I feel it is too early and you require more experience. Good luck!

No, the why has to be filled with reasons. I'm not even sure what the exact 'reason' of your whole why is, but I am just seeing the 'I want to help.' and that's it.

You'll probably get accepted maybe, idk... but I don't like that fact that your intro is about your whole life and etc (most of the intro is really pointless) ... and then your actual like important part is short and not really detailed.

I feel like you should wait a little, but at the same time.. if ever accepted you will be made into good staff material.
