Where to go from here with Meepcraft

I noticed a TON of bugs in Meep. /nv does not work for exclusives in airship and dungeon. Typing /warp dungeon in dungeon throws you into the void and kills you. /suicide in Boomo kills you then respawns out of the map. armor stands are still greifable (a whole year after 1.8). Notes are not given to players after voting. Pets are dysfunctional. Way more glitches exist in Meepcraft.

My proposal; Iron out the server's bugs before we move on to developing other mini-games and such. Finish the jobs started before making more.

 

/nv is supposed to be an elite command....
This goes in report a bug, not suggestions.

 

The entire thing is appealing to the suggestion, so it belongs here.

 

We've literally been saying what he did for years. This isn't going to make a difference. Stick it in report a bug and it'll probably get done faster.

 

Just some notes on the issues you have reported

1.) NV is an elite command and should not work for exclusives anywhere, let me know if it does and we will take care of it. As a side-note it was added back to Dungeon yesterday and likely airship by now as well I will check on this later this morning.
2.) /warp dungeon while in dungeon only put you in the void for less than an hour after it was reported to me, this bug has been resolved almost a month now.
3.) /suicide shouldn't even work in Boomo I will have an admin block the command. /leave if you want to leave a game.
4.) Armor stands have been protected for almost 2 months now as well as eggs and all new 1.8 gates and sponge removing water.
5.) We have completely rewritten the voting plugin to resolve the issues you are speaking of its still being tested right now but should be released soon.
6.) We are still debugging what actually causes the issues with pets, this is a difficult one to resolve as we cannot make the issue happen on demand so we have to make educated guesses as to where the issues are.

 

I did put it in report bug what I'm showing here is we have numerous bugs that need to be fixed before we make more.

Well... Even though he used horrible examples he has a decent point. I too agree that making more mini games and more stuff adds more on the plate. Though on the other hand people tend to now not like towny based servers so broading the amount of stuff to do is a nice thing.

Though I would like to see a bit more attention on towny(as I spend all my time there,) I understand it's not always the best idea for meep. People are more into 10 minute games than a over time struggle(towny.)

In addition to this I rather have more players, if that means towny is a bit neglected. Techs do great work on the server, far more intelligent that me and no offense probably you. Trust the plan for the server, it hopefully bring much needed revenue for us so eventually we can work at towny .
