Introduction: Hello Meepcraft! My name is Liam, but most of you know me as Qaz. I live in the Bay Area of California. I have been on this server and on Minecraft for 3 years and 5 months, and was introduced by Danehohmeyer and bob2779, my two IRL friends. I go to the same school as them (and Zoe89). I am going into 7th Grade. I was a Helper on MeepCraft about a year ago.
I enjoy skiing, in which I do often because I am on a team, and programming mods for Minecraft, which I have just started doing. My favorite subject is probably technology in general and science (space science is particularly cool.)
I like to joke around, but I can easily become serious if the time calls for it. When I became Helper I had a lot of fun, but I took the position seriously. The staff were all welcoming and were forgiving if I made a small mistake, like banning somebody for "Stealing" instead of "Theft", which I was very grateful for. After I was demoted for lack of modreqs, which occurred because I had been lazy and I was slacking off, I slowly started to waste my money away on things like mansions, and finally mostly left. Around 2 months later Zoe89 got me back into MeepCraft, and I joined a town and started playing again. A little after that, Zoe got Helper, and my mind started thinking about becoming staff again.
One of the reasons I left in the first place was because Meep wasn't a challenge anymore. I had all the Meebles I needed (6 Million), and I got bored. When I returned, I had only 75,000, and so I set out to regain my money. Once lottery returned, I stopped playing HG and CTF to gain money to keep, but instead played them to gain money to spend on lottery tickets. Around a month ago I won the lottery with a major jackpot of 450k. Suddenly, my challenge had disappeared. I needed something new to do on MeepCraft, and it hit me that being a staff was this challenge I needed to keep me Meeping.

Why should you be Helper? I believe that I should be a Helper again for a few reasons. These reasons are my experience, my empathy, my command knowledge, and my dedication to MeepCraft as a whole. I think these will all help me be a good staff member should I become Helper.
Experience: I have been on this server for a very long time, and in that time I have seen many great staff members rise and fall. For example, I remember fighting Pimpkachu in terrarium when he was an Exclusive, and I remember watching him rise up in the staff ranks quickly. I also remember being lava'd by Rosenow at spawn (Which is the best experience I have had).. I have seen these great staff members and how they have risen up, and I believe I can rise to that challenge of becoming a staff. I have also been a Helper before, and I know what is acceptable and what isn't of Helpers in general.

Empathy: I have been told by more people than just my Mom that I have a high level of empathy. I can understand what citizen players feel and can accurately decide what I can do to help them. I can calm them down in a situation that requires it, and can easily understand what they are going through if suddenly all the valuables from their chest disappears, if they lose a plot, or any other situation. I can help new players more accurately learn about the server, and I will be able to easily show them the ropes on exactly how the server community works. I also know how it is like being a more experienced player with more valuable items, and how it is like losing those items. I will use this empathy to calm them down and keep the situation under control when it becomes heated.

Prism: I have never actually used this plugin before, but I have studied the commands on the site and have gotten them mostly down. I understand that knowing about how to use plugins correctly is definitely an essential in staff, Prism especially, as it is the staffs main tool now, as Hawkeye was the main tool when I was a Helper. Even though I don’t have any experience in actually using Prism in game, I am a fast learner, and will most likely pick it up pretty quickly.

Commands: I have been on this server enough to know how towny perms work, and since I have been a staff before I already know the basic commands to staff. This will help me answer modreqs more quickly and more easily, and in more quantity. Commands from other smaller parts from the server are slightly less known to me, but I feel completely confident that I can help out a player if they need to know how to use a certain command.

Dedication: After being on this server for so long, it has become a big part of my life. I greatly want to help all new people and show them that this server really is the greatest ever. I will spend 90% of my available time on Meepcraft, helping out people all over the server. I have plenty of hours to spend on MeepCraft helping out and doing whatever the position of Helper requires me to do.

Forums: I go on the forums a lot and enjoy making suggestions and starting discussions, as well as joining in on discussions. I go on the forums as much as possible and use all the chances available to check up on forums, which there are a lot of. I can help out any new forum members by showing them around the forums if needed.

All of these I see as strengths that I can use to be a good staff member should I become Helper.

What are your weaknesses? Immaturity: I am definitely not one of the oldest staff members, and there are times when I can be over-dramatic or too joking. I will work on this weakness constantly to be able to help more seriously and calmly, and to be able to help others to become more calm during times which may cause panic.

Teamspeak: I do not know if my Teamspeak is a gigantic weakness, but it is definitely not a strength so I will post it here. In real life (Zoe can tell you) I talk far too much. Over Teamspeak however, I have noticed that while talking I feel a little self-conscious. Recently though, I have greatly started to talk more openly and I believe this will not be a critical weakness.

Laziness: Like I said in my introduction, I can be lazy. I sometimes would rather sit around or play a minigame instead of doing modreqs. This caused my demotion from staff before, but I feel since then I have become less lazy and more hard working. I will definitely keep working on this weakness and will try to completely eliminate it, or at least try to have it not effect my modreq count.

Please give any other information you might think is useful for us to know: Conclusion: All in all, I think that I am qualified for being a staff member on this amazing server. I have the experience, the empathy, the knowledge and the dedication needed for being a staff. I have my weaknesses like all others do, and I will work on them. I just turned 13 on August 1st, and if I was in 7th grade I would be one of the youngest so I did an extra preschool year like some other people did in my grade.
