Idk if you guys know much about the staff application process, and one thing that people have to do USA, well, help in shout. But any people use /modreq for help. My idea is that there is a command called like /commreq and anybody can help people. Sure, there can be trolling. But what about people who really want to help? It can report how many times they have helped. This is a way to actually monitor how much people help in a fair way.

    Not a bad idea actually
I sense a few problems, though. As a player, if I claimed one of these requests myself, I wouldn't be able to help with scams, thefts, anything that requires looking through logs at all. plus, theres the people that troll the newbies, and they quit forever which we don't want.

I suppose maybe there could be a server group that basically verifies you can help. to get this you'd have to be able to show you know most commands, like towny, skyblock, how to do X, Y, Z, etc.

I really don't know how well this could work, honestly. I feel like this would be more trouble that it's worth, and staff would have to moderate it as well as everything else, and kind of just a pain.
While good in theory, I doubt it'd work in practice. -1.

I feel like there's no flaws in the current system of answering /shout questions

Good idea to think of, bad idea to implement. Players can do the complete opposite of help. Now, it depends on what you'll allow players who are "helping" to do. I'm assuming by /commreq you mean command request as in players can ask a question about a command and this way players don't have to crowd the modreq pile with questions that can very simply be answered by /commreq. However there isn't a good way to monitor what players say to the other players to help without making this completely inefficient. As I am assuming the main goal that /commreq is going to fulfill is lighten the modreq count significantly, but if players do troll it'll make the staffs job even harder as they have to not only answer the players question, but they will need to see what the other player said to the player who needed help. Not only this but this plugin will need to be written, it is extremely similar to modreq though, if not identical so not much, if at all will need to be done to get this plugin ready. The staff will need to create a rule set for this, set out punishments, and this looks like it can be a huge time consuming and problematic. It doesn't take that long for staff to even do these kinds of questions and people can also ask in shout (like what qwikin said above me).

TL;DR: This kind of task can already be taken care of without much trouble and efficiently.

+1 if we could allow players to view logs, if it doesn't cause any trouble

Would take more resources for us to moderate that issue. We get to modreqs as quickly as we can and help in /g just fine. I appreciate that you want to help, but that's why we have an application process. ;)
