Several times I have died and went to do /back. It takes me to the previous place I was at spawn.
If I do /back in TownsA it will take me back to the last location I was in at TownsA, and so on.
I am pretty sure this is a bug :)

Thanks @__Zane for saving me :)

The purpose of /back has never been to take you to the last place you died; it is to take you to the last place you teleported. However, I have found that sometimes it works cross-server and sometimes it doesn't.

Not sure if I agree with you on that one Chaos. :p

But even so, if I am at my town and then I go to spawn for something I can't do /back to get back to my town. It will take me to the last place I teleported in spawn. Not very useful :p

Has anyone ever told you otherwise? I have always been told that /back is for returning to where you last teleported from. I actually find it extremely useful in staff work, but otherwise rather useful xD

Well yes, they have actually but I think we both posted at the same time so you missed the second thing I said.

The whole point of /back was (if u died) was to teleport u back. I dont think this version of /back is very useful to members of meep.

Hah yeah, I missed that. Like I said the cross-server seems rather unstable, so I'll test it and see what can be done about it.

To my knowledge the command has never been meant to do that. Who ever told you that that was the case?

Pretty much every Meeper.... I remember once it stopped doing that and it was fixed. Staff at the time said it was meant to bring you back to your death location.

I am very sure that it isn't supposed to work like that, but it is supposed to be cross server; I have reported that it isn't working properly :)

I have compared this version of /back to other servers and the result was that they all had the other version. Plus the other version is makes more sense. /back is to teleport you to your last location. The new version is kind of like a home that u set and u can go back to by doing /back

So here's what I feel like is going on here-

    Bug (now pending): /back doesn't work cross-server

Suggestion (will propose with bug report): make /back take you to your death point

It's not a suggestion, the command has always worked like that.

Incorrect. I've used /back before to where I died to get my stuff if I ever had any in the wild.

i have used it too to get back, but the bug isn't really that it doesn't take you back to where you died, it's that it doesn't work cross-server. so i am reporting it that way and asking for it to ensure it works upon death. chill out lol
