Plot buying glitch after name change

Bug: Plot buying glitch

Summary of Bug: I changed my name on my old account, then when I went to claim the plots on an alt after doing /plot fs 0 and having money in my account I was unable to purchase the plots. Apparently an admin will be needed to fix it.

It needs to be unclaimed then re claim it back to fix it. That's the only solution that I know of.

 

As in /t unclaim /t claim?

 

Yes, I did that when I changed my name because that's what staff members told me to do so.

 

No, it should be fine if you wait and let an admin delete your old towny data. The bug is caused by the fact that your old account has -1 meebles, and paying you any amount does not solve it. There is no need to waste money on claiming/unclaiming.

@___Deadpool___ and I encountered this glitch when he namechanged.

You need to get the mayor (comayor or assistant works also) to do /plot claim on the plot (transforming the plot into a town-owned plot) [note: the plot cannot be for sale when you do /plot claim; if it is, do /plot nfs] then /plot fs 0, then /plot claim again, then /plot fs 0, then you can claim it.

You could do that ^

Or you could get a co-mayor or the mayor and have them kick the account from the town. Then the plot should be fixed.
