You could just say straight up that staff are too lazy. Regardless that it is a single command + /banning the old account.

    Meh you're intellect is lacking.

It's not because the staff is lazy. It is because a rank is bound to an account. Even on the donations page it says, "Upgrade your account."

Essentially a player does not own the rank, but the account he upgraded does. Meaning there is nothing to transfer. I have an Ultimate and two elites. I do not own those ranks, the individual accounts own those ranks.

Regarding Snorehax, that was a decision made originally by one admin, it was not a precedent of policy. The return of his rank to the original account was a correction on the decision of an admin a long time ago.

The server has never done this, again, Snorehax was an exception because an admin no longer here made an exception for a friend. He went against server policy and acted alone, the server cannot, nor should not, be held accountable for that.

I think this may be a misunderstanding. When you go to the donation page and type in your screenname, the page automatically takes out the amount that you've already paid. In this case, you already paid for Premium ($20) and wanted to buy Elite ($80), so the shop subtracted the money you've already paid ($80-$20) for a total of $60.

So there is no "extra" Premium rank to transfer, even if it were possible. You didn't really buy a whole Premium rank and a whole Elite rank... you upgraded from Premium to Elite. Does that help? :)

I read this through several times. I think KariStar is right about what Adamram15 wants; and surely you can't double use your ranks and transfer the Premium rank you got first to an alt, while keeping the Elite rank you got by donating an extra $60 to rank from Premium to Elite.

Unless...could it be that your Elite rank has just not loaded yet?

Well if he was Premium and donated $60 to get elite and something happened to his account why not take the elite off of his main account and put it on his new one. I don't see why staff don't do rank transfers anymore. I makes the server look bad, and it cost nothing and it only takes 1-2 commands to type in. Once shown enough proof then why not?

Staff have never done rank transfers. It only happened for Snorehax because an admin went against server policy.

The reason they don't do it, is because ranks are owned by an account, not a person. If I donate to Ultimate, I don't own he Ultimate, the account I upgraded does.

Its not like he's moving across seas where he has to buy a new passport, drivers license, zip code etc. Its just a ranktransfer to a different account.

But you are not understanding one thing. When you click the donation page, it clearly says "Donate to upgrade your account." Meaning the rank is account bound, not bound to the player. MeepCraft has honored it's end of the deal on this.

You don't own the rank, the account does.

It seems disrespectful to keep hammering at a business to change their purchase policy which has been in place for well over a year now, especially when you donate knowing full well what it entails. When you donate, you understand that it is account bound, because it plainly says it is.

It's like buying an item with a 30 day warranty, then trying to return it after 60 days. When they store refuses to do so, you go on a campaign to try to force them to change it to a 90 day policy for the sole person of your benefit.

Technically, the staff hurt this entire argument, however, when you allowed you to transfer your rank from MarshallMafers to SimpleArchitect.

My Rank transfer was directly approved by fuzzlr himself. That is none of your concern. (sorry for sounding a bit rude)

Secondly no its not like going over a 30 day warranty, you just contradicted your statement their because you don't ''donate'' to purchase an item you pay for it. You are not ''donating'' money to buy a burger, you're spending your money. And if you don't like it, you either demand a refund or request for a better burger. A lot of companies have customer support. I ordered a microphone on amazon for $100 and it turned out to be complete garbage so I sent it back and got my money back. I didn't ''donate'' for this item I paid for it, same goes with ranks on this server. You're not ''donating'' your money for a product you're spending real life money to acquire it.

Concerning your rank, and Fuzzlr, his actions have directly hurt each staff who has to explain why they do not do rank transfers. He hurts their argument and their position, directly undermining them. Furthermore, you argue from a biased position, having received a rank transfer yourself. I would suspect your opinion should be essentially thrown out because you circumvented the entire system.

Either way, on the donation page, it explains the situation. Ranks are account upgrades, meaning account bound, meaning non-transferable. The only reason people are going to argue for this policy to change is out of personal self-interest, and they stand to directly benefit from this change.

People who donate do it knowing full well that they are upgrading a single account, for this reason I see no reason to allow rank transfers. Everyone agreed to the condition of it as soon as they sent the payment in.

But then they wouldn't be elite+ so they would revert it because the player that requested it would be deranked causing and infinite loop :p

I'm not sure if you have caught any number of the multi-paragraphed posts I've written on here in no shortage of words outlining how much I disagree with any number of policies. I have always been vocal on what I disagree with, in both the forums and in staff chat during my time there. However what I do not, and have always not, agree with is weaponizing information to attack the members of staff. Sometimes there is some staff not as ideal as others, and sometimes they mess up. But I don't agree with or understand taking something like this, a situation completely out of their control, and using it to attack them.

In this situation, Marshall bypassed the staff, and went to Fuzzlr, in which then he decided to do it. Did you think any staff was going to say, "Yeah, Fuzzlr, that is not allowed, you can't do that." Simply put, that's not how it's going to work, nor has it ever. So when I said Fuzzlr did it, I literally meant he did it.

It's just a tad silly to be acting like that, don't you think? I understand that you are frustrated with how things have been. There is things I wish I could change, or be different as well, but I don't get how being like that is productive at all. I know that things should have been done months ago, but they are being done now; these things, I believe, will bring a better and bigger breath of fresh air than our reset after MN ever could. I'm actually more excited about the upcoming updates than I was when I did /op all at MN, because this time they are making a better game, not just moving it. Just keep in mind, everything waxes and wanes, really, MeepCraft is no different.

I've been part of online games a long time, from text based games to MMORPGs. There are text servers out there that have been up and humming along for 12 or more years. There are Neverwinter Night servers still up and going. MeepCraft, and MineCraft, will be no different, it'll be going along for quite some time yet, regardless of how many perceived issues players might see in it. World of Warcraft has 6,800,000 users, tons of which are found in no short order on the forums positing that this or that is or will be the death of WoW. All of us gamers are just kinda critical of the games we play, and generally thinks aren't as bad as we're saying they are.
