-1 I feel like you aren't a good helper let alone a mod. While I was begging for help from you for my modreq, you were talking about ponies on the chat. If you maybe LISTEN to me occasionally then I fight have said yes... Please no...

 

Positives:
• You're very active. You'll be in-game most of the time, and sometimes you take your time efficiently (I will discuss the other half on the latter part)
• You've only been helper for some weeks, and you've grown pretty well.
• You have the highest modreq count on the team.
• For the most part, you're approachable.
• You also have the most modreqs on the team
• Generally nice, but you do have a bad side with some players.

Negatives:- You can be sometimes immature.
- There are sometimes where you can be biased with what you do.
- I still feel like you're "fresh" at helper, and could use some more experience.
- I've seen some modreqs that you do, and I feel like some of them are a bit lacking, and they could use some more push to help the player fully answer their question.
- Most of the replies on this app covered the rest that I missed.

Overall:
You're an excellent helper, but I question how you'd do as a mod.
I rate this with an unbiased -.5. In the future, if you address these problems, I do see you being as a mod

 

Maybe he was dealing with another Modreq? Staff can talk in shout while doing modreqs... You should wait your turn. +1 again.

We get notifications that there are modreqs to be done every 5 or so minutes. In between that time (if no modreqs were present the last time /check was done) we as Staff, and I know most of us do, like to communicate in shout. Because that is what we intend to do as players. And as stated above, if you ask for attention it might help, but spamming and begging won't.
And just an f.y.i. modreqs tend to pile and minimal staff can be on at times. I know everyone as Staff has experienced this at least once.

Dude you just seem immature. If you spend a little more time on this subject I think you will see what I do.

 

There was one time I ever told someone to stop killing me or I'd kick them in Kit.
You kept killing me while I made it known that I was trying to find a trap in the arena where non-donors without /suicide could not leave. You killed me about 3 times, which in between I said "Please stop", before giving my final warning and once again emphasizing the fact that there was an illegal trap and that I needed to screenshot where the trap was and find the coordinates of the trap..

 

Is this directed at me? If I ever did so, I am sincerely sorry. I personally have never seen you say that, and I don't know what on Earth you are talking about.

 

Constructive advice about Bobjon's app are the only posts allowed from this point onwards.

 

I don't know about the posts above, though I read through them.

I will say I've always had good interactions with bobjon.
Bobjon is the only staff I can see on most of the time in the evening and into the later hours in the U.S.
He's the one who shows up when I do a modreq these days.

I know staff gets really busy and I don't mind a rushed response or waiting 30min either but,
He is way more polite than many staff I've done modreqs with in the past year.

The things I've been hearing along with a couple I've experienced myself are not good for any staff member to have on their record.
I HAVE seen you kicking for wrong or invalid reasons, and I do remember sighing when you put a bad reason thinking "not again..."
From what I've seen, you don't learn from your mistakes.

On top of that, and what others have already said (namely monkey... if that was only a month ago, YOU WERE STILL STAFF at that time. You've been staff for about 5 weeks, right? While that situation was... not really but sort of understandable as a joke... it was wrong and you know it.), I have not yet seen you take a negative comment without arguing back on it.
If you've messed up, you've messed up.
Admit it, and don't give excuses.
I do this a lot too, so I understand that it's natural to justify yourself. In fact, when lightspeedtitan put that report up about me not doing my job, I mailed him a long essay explaining exactly my thoughts and why I did not kick those people. When I asked him what he thought about it, he said "All I see are excuses" and I realized he was right. Though they were my thoughts, and they were pretty valid reasons for not kicking those people, that's not how it came off as and I needed to change that.
After that I accepted his criticism and moved on.
But you also need to learn to accept criticism and change, don't excuse yourself saying "It was a month ago and I've changed." Maybe you have, maybe you haven't. But you could have just told monkey thank you for your input and bettered yourself from that criticism.

Anyway, if you haven't figured out by now, I'm a -1.
I'm sorry, you're still a good friend of mine, but I was at a -1 for helper too. You barely joined or interacted with the community before you applied. You needed more time and still do.

You need to stop arguing for his case, and accusing other people of "holding a grudge". They're allowed to post a constructive comment on his application, and regardless of whether "all of the staff are +ing him" the community has an input as well. Adding on to that, a few players have posted some very constructive things.

Fang summed it up perfectly. I was against you becoming a Helper, you lack the maturity and often kiss up to fellow staff members. When you applied, you had 27 forum posts, I honestly had no idea why your application was accepted. Your interaction was very limited, you were never around, but showed up for a few days and applied. In addition, you spamming chat and received a kick (now warrants a 1 hour ban) for that. This occurred whilst your application was in interview.

Pretty much what I wanted to say, and also. You seem to be the staff member that wants to be "cool". You're only in it to get something out of it like being cool.
