    Anyone on the new OS X yosemite having any mc issues? I can't get the new java so therefore I can't get on mc.

    If it says the file is damaged/corrupted go to system preferences, go to security, unlock it with your password, and change the "allow applications downloaded from" setting to anywhere.

    Hmmm, have you only been using the java updates apple gives you... They give you like secured updates or something, have you actually tried downloading the latest version from the java website? Just shooting in the dark here.

    I have the most recent java update on my desktop (from apple). I cannot open the .dmg file. That is my issue.

    Hmm, if you can't open dmg files you may have a more serious problem, maybe I'm wrong but usually that means you have something that is corrupted. You may have to reinstall lion or something the restore everything.
    Edit: wait is it just that dmg file or do you have problems with others.
