Completed "limited Item: /fix" Bugs

There are ways to give Limited Items to players who aren't allowed to use them.

Please post the methods in this thread. They will be fixed.

If a elite puts a fixed item in a chest and a they added a non elite to there plot they can take it out of the chest

 

I don't have a way to test it, but I would recommend making sure you can't use chestshop to circumvent it. If I understand it correctly, it just pops the item directly into your inventory when you buy from it.

 

Non-elites can not take a fixed item out of a chest.

Another one I can't test, but possibly able to bypass, would be auctioning in skyblock (and where ever else you can auction)

 

You can not circumvent this with ChestShop

You can put armor on a player with dispensers.

I believe that if an Elite+ puts /fix'd armor in a dispenser, and a non-Elite uses said dispenser to equip it, the armor does not register in the player's inventory and is still at full.

Some creative servers have a plugin that if you put a greifing tool in your inventory, it takes it away. For donators thats a different story, the server staff can decide which rank is allowed to have what.

 

I dont get this, elites should be able to /fix mob droppings and sell them. Talk about devaluing a rank

 

You were never allowed to do this, so it is devaluing nothing.

This plugin is just self-moderating an impossible to moderate rule.

 

It's not devaluing the rank . The items that you /fix must means you used them. /fix is used for you personal stuff if your elite +

 

If people know that they can get their stuff fixed without buying the rank, it is devaluing the rank. It is also known as have illegal possession of ranked items.

 

Like sponges or spawners.

 

People can get rid of the /fix lore by /fix'ing an item, selling said item to the MeepShop, then buying it back. It doesn't work for enchanted items, and it has the 5% tax on selling... But still. If this is a problem, maybe disable selling /fix'ed items to the MeepShop? Or ignore it and install the ChestShops?

Yes, but thats a derail from the conversation. Ahh so confusing.

Smkorpi is saying the plugin devalues the rank because Elites can't sell items, I was saying it devalued nothing that way because that was illegal anyways, I think jmelara got confused and thought I was saying it was devaluing the rank (?), but what he says is true and is basically what I was saying, and what bob said is true but unrelated to the original thing I said.

Such unnecessary argument
