Denied Perryjay's Appeal For "duping"

Why we should consider your appeal:
Just as a first i would like to know what evidence you have of me duping that would be nice. then i can prove that i have not been duping.

I told Bob, and only Bob, about your trick, and you know what I'm talking about. I wanted to see if it was ACTUALLY legal. Bob found 49 pages of spawner breaks from the past day.

 

Ok well i would like to say that this is not duping and i, and others, was told that it is not duping or at all illegal by staff members. I thought that this would have been illegal when i found out about from a friend but when i asked i was told that it wasn't. I can see why you think it would be duping but it isn't

Yes i know i can see that it clearly shows me breaking spawners. But i have been told by a staff member that although this may seem illegal, it is not deemed to be illegal. This is why i felt it was right to do so.

 

This was a common way to dupe during MN and it has been punished as duping since then.

 

Sorry for posting here but this is kind of the same thing as when you did /jobs join farmer then kept on destroying reeds!?

 

has it? oh sorry i wasn't around then. I was just told by a staff member that it may be thought of as illegal but there are no rules against it. So i just went by what i was told.

 

The act of /t unclaim -ing a plot in order to regenerate it(and the items there) is highly illegal and has been considered duping since MeepNetworks, in which this was an extremely prevalent way to dupe items. This method single handedly destroyed the economy in MeepNetworks.

I reported this a few months ago to Jwarian, and June, and was told this was taken care of, unfortunately it is not.

There is a rule against this, it is the duping rule. This has always been duping, it always will be duping.

 

Yh i also thought that if this was indeed illegal then something would be in place to stop it. I'm not sure if this has been implemented recently or not but ok i understand.

Ok after what you guys have said i now understand how and that this is illegal. I am sorry for what i have done and i accept my punishments, including the fact that i now cannot be a helper either. I just thought that if i was going to be told by a staff member that it is not illegal then that would be the right answer. Clearly it isn't.
