summary:i recently got banned by speedyjake2003 because of my apparent TS server advertising this is not true i dont call this advertising
we were on ts together and he asked where i was
i said i was on a different server and he said to poke me with the ip
i did once he got on the server he started harrasing the staff to make him staff and he started threatening me to opp him or else he would get me banned for "advertising" he filled a report and in the end i was the only ine who got banned. and also he sent everyone the ip for his server including me

 

Server rules don't apply to Teamspeak I guess. I see this as blatant advertising on Teamspeak. You poked him the IP to your server. If that's not advertising then our global rules notes should be edited and Teamspeak rules should be posted separately. A few of my fellow staff members don't seem to see eye to eye with me on this either.

Note: Report him for advertising his server to you. @EnDer BunNieS told me this as well, but said he didn't record evidence.

First of all Sorry for posting this if you think this is not relevant.

As a witness just now, Speedyjake admitted that he ASKED Belle what server was she on. Then Belle gave the server IP as it is also the server name. You can ask Ender_Bunnies or Mistressmacabre to get some more information about this as they are also witness. Take note that we cannot record any conversation in TS so I have no strong proof for this.

 

As a defendant, I hereby claim this thread ACCEPTED

anyways, Speedy did however did did admit to series of involvement with server IP, and sending it to multiple people - sorry for bobbing in.

 

Aww Belle I honestly believe this is unfair. I also witnessed speedy admitting he ASKED for the server IP. I think this should be reduced. But that's me. I was under the impression Speedy and Belle were friends. This sucks belle hope things get worked out for you lovely. <3

 

Ok so this is true i admit it said what server are you on, but i did NOT ask her the ip so i dont think she should be unbanned

Yes, But the server name is obviously the IP. I don't honestly see the difference, besides.

 

What we're implying is, mostly small/large server ip address are also the name of the server. For example, we use meepcraft.com to connect to Meepcraft. Also this, 192.163.0.19 <- This can be the name of the server. (This is not actually a server I just made that up)

 

But the server name is meepcraft but the ip is meepcraft.com keep her banned

 

You seem very desperate to keep her banned. That is not a good thing. Belle is a good player as far as I know and this misunderstanding should not keep her banned for long. I hope that this appeal gets accepted as soon as possible as this is clearly a misunderstanding.

 

Belle is a sweetheart. She's very helpful and kind. I've never had a problem with her, nor have I heard of any instances of her causing any trouble. I think this is a terrible instance of entrapment. And I hate entrapment. It's horrible to trick someone into breaking the rules.

 

Ban appeal accepted. I take fault in not understanding the full extent of the situation.
