Yahoo Hack - Migration?

Many of you probably know about a "recent" data breach on the service known as Yahoo. After seeing that yahoo is declining in the world of technology, I made the jump from a yahoo address to a google mail address, mostly because I found that Google is much more user friendly.
Yahoo hit in worst hack ever, 500 million accounts swiped

Anyone else make a migration from one email/cloud provider to another?
Did the experience go well, or did issues come up?

I guess I could say having to change out my new address for all the colleges that had my original one is a big hassle. Changing my address in other services will be a long process as well.

I still have my yahoo account but everything was moved to my gmail accounts, I have like 6 of them right now only because i use half as back up for my main youtube account

 

Yahoo has always been complete garbage in my experience even when it was popular. Another thing is that I use google because everything else is crap except firefox (sometimes) and its much more convenient than going to another website. Also many websites now let you sign in with google so all you need is one account for almost everything, of course this does mean if your google account is hacked then all your accounts are hacked but if they have your email they can pretty much get into any other account regardless of your password or username.

 

But you only need to change it once rather than every account. Another reason two-step verification is important

 

I've actually been leaning more towards Google for a long time, just because it is more efficient. I keep a few email accounts, but I generally use my Gmail ones more. The thing that makes it better for me is the easy of access for other services Google provides like docs, spreadsheets, etc.

 

Yahoo has a cloud storage solution but I guess its only another data hub to take my info from. Google also seems to keep their content up to date.
