Wool Slabs

Should definitely be added if wool slabs are feasibly possible. I have the same problem with building with clay than I do with wool.

 

dirt grass slabs, and normal stone slabs wouldnt be bad either

 

+2 if it was as easy as it looks
-1 because there is more important stuff that can be done but if anyone has a free year it would be cool.

 

Sideways slabs are way more important

 

Those too would be awesome. Another thing possibly would be to put two different kinds of slabs on top of each other in the same block space.

 

Why don't we add cars and guns while we are at it? Just keep it vanilla, simple as that.

Obviously cars and guns are a bit too far... but isn't things that aren't vanilla what make servers unique? The more cool things that aren't seen often in servers, the better, as long as they're not stupid.

This is a vanilla server, simple as that.

 

It's basically impossible, the only way this was implemented previously was via SpoutCraft, which is a highly outdated, and abandoned (once again) plugin. On that note, I don't think MeepCraft is planning on developing it's own API similar to it (if they are though, hats off to them).

If it were possible +1, like I said, closest plugin to it (in "vanilla") would be AnySlab, which only makes ghost blocks or AdvancedSlabs. Both of these are almost purely admin tools and couldn't be configured for common use.

Personally, I feel this is an unnecessary project for the techs. It is possible to create them in vanilla, but only with a command block. Last I checked, we do not want everyone using command blocks.
You can easily create what you need with vanilla wool and clay. For roads, all you do is adjust the height to 1 block below surface level with stairs of some kind on the sides. For wool sculptures, you need only to increase the scale slightly.

I do, and I understand what you are saying. I'm not trying to change anyone's POV, I'm just stating how I feel.

 

+1 Just use the texture pack and data values, then sell it it a /warp slabs or something

 

-1/2 I actually like the idea, but it would most likely it would make it laggy. Maybe for only creative that would be really cool and make new possibilities.

 

Denied, this is not possible without a custom client which you can add the block to; not meep-compatible. Thanks for the suggestion though!
