After so many stupid tragedy with these damn candidates, I can't wait til all this crap is done and over with. But then when it's done. We have (once again) a bad president "protecting" the United States of America. If Clinton becomes president most likely the second amendment will be taken away from us, which will cause a civil war. People who wants guns vs people who don't want guns... guess what they will be fighting with? GUNS LLOLOLL

    What's your thoughts on this?

The idea that the 2nd amendment gives the people the power to overthrow the government if it became oppressive is a fallacy, it may have worked when the government had muskets and the people had muskets, but at this point I doubt a bunch of civilians with semi-automatic assault rifles will be able to do anything more than piss of the people with attack helicopters, automatic weapons, tactics, tanks, and planes. Also, the idea that the second amendment will be "taken away from us" is absurd, she has publicly supported installing thorough background checks and things that she perceives would make it harder for bad guys to get guns, but never making it so that a law abiding citizen can't get a gun to protect themselves with. (Thats what she said when she was in pittsburgh at least, If someone can cite somewhere when she said we should completely abolish it that would be much appreciated!)

Just cause I'm not as old as mostly people talking about policatics doesn't mean I don't know anything about politics. No reason to apose me of my judgement.

You have to consider for a moment though that the group of americans most likely to attempt an overthrow of the government are libertarian/conservative types, which also happens to be a good portion of the military. Defection and deserting would be a problem.

Consider also that our military isn't so good at fighting insurgent forces. Yes, casualty ratios are good, but we can't seem to actually get rid of them (in the middle east).

Even with this, victory would be unlikely, but it's better than nothing.

This sentence isn't even grammatically correct, so I wouldn't be talking if I were you.

    That was the joke :p

Less Than Half Of The Military Identifies As Republican
Theres a graph in this that was supposedly done by the Military Times that says only around 42% are republican, and only 5% are libertarian, around 33% of the republicans surveyed described themselves as "Moderate". I really doubt any significant amount of the military would desert. I agree that we aren't stellar at getting rid of insurgents but I bet we would be able to neutralize any threat they posed to the government.

Sorry, but MW4 is locked behind the blackmarket. It's rarer than the guns so no one has obtained it yet.

Guns, ahhhhh the big topic of "guns kill people".... no they don't. People kill people. If you put the guns in the right hands, we won't have these problems. Let me also say, within the 4 or 8 years Hillary would have been president. She couldn't have taken our guns away. Nor can she just "get rid of the 2nd amendment". Now what they can do and I believe New York did is pay people to turn in their guns, which in that case it's optional. I'll keep mine though, they keep me safe and put food on the table!

Also @iGwampa it has nothing to do with you being 12 or 13 but your example was stupid so it's your mentality. This is how people like you think

Hillary Elected: no guns, more immigrants
    Bernie Elected: FREE FREE FREE
    Trump Elected: Racist!

I think the one thing we agree on is that people kill people.
What do you think of universal background checks to make sure guns don't get into the wrong hands?

Check em all you want! But when an innocent person wants to purchase a gun.... you let them purchase it and you do not take it away (unless they use it completely improperly, such as hurting/killing people).

How does a President take away Constitutional amendments?

Gun policy is pretty simple. You need to take a test to get a license to show you're competent, just like a vehicle, and renew it periodically like a vehicle. If you have a violent criminal history, you don't get jack. If you have violent mental health issues, you don't get jack.

    Done.

Sure, but occupying a foreign nation with a foreign culture is much, much more difficult than occupying a domestic area with domestic culture. Plus, we've seen how rebellions work in this country, they get squashed.

That's a slippery slope, once the government starts infringing on the second amendment a little bit, wheres the check to stop them from taking it away entirely?

Good, i'm glad! Do you also agree with me that the government should not know what guns you have? Because I think its none of the governments business what kind of gun I have. (unless I use it improperly and then they have the right to search my house and take my guns). Did you see the older guy that they just took like 92 guns away from!? I think its crazy to have that many and he might as well have a sellers license! Its like my dad, my dad bought 5 new trucks in one years time and they told him if you buy another truck you have to buy a dealers license.

    Im mildly confused....

Okay, again. The president can not just take your guns (aka a constitutional right you have) away from you.
