Hey guys, I noticed most servers start you off with some items when you join to make it a little easier. I think Meepcraft should give new players When they join the items of:
    1.Set of leather armor
    2.Set of stone tools
    3.32 Cooked pork
    4.$3,000 meebles
    5.Meepcraft guide
I think this would be a great addition to meepcraft! Please be Constructive Below!
Thanks for reading and see you around meep!

Im pretty sure i already answered this! But this is how it USE TO BE and players did get armor and tools, but it was really worthless and people just threw them on the ground just like they will with what you suggested. Also they do start with meebles and a meepcraft guide! New players can have a set of Iron armor in less then 10 minutes and iron tools if they wanted it... not to mention food is not really necessary since you dont really die from hunger anyways! Plus they can start with up to 11500 meebles in less then the first 5 minutes of being on the server if they would/could only read stuff, and then buy a few things better then what you suggested.

+1 on stone tools and food.
-1 on armor (don't want to see a flood of brown steves running around spawn)

I remember when I joined meep for the first time it took me days if not a week to find a town to join and figure out what's what. Sure you don't die of hunger but it's really annoying slowly losing your health to half a heart and dying if walking over a seemingly innocent ledge in wild somewhere. Everybody hates punching trees to get started and a basic stone kit will get you up to speed in no time. Most newbies won't know about the admin shop or how to operate it tbh. And even if they did the overpriced items might convince them to try and make it on their own. Most players that shout for help in /g asking where to get stuff or where to start are referred to /warp wild so having a basic kit will help them a lot. These items are wothless and giving them to NEW players only won't hurt. People dropping them would be if anybody got them every time they visit spawn which would be annoying as hell.

A lot of servers have this kind of "starting pack". I really like it and when I first joined I was surprised I got nothing but a guide.
I agree with hardegat, not armor. Tools, food, and maybe a little less money are a total yes.
I think 1,500 meebles should be appropriate. If they want more quickly, they can do the tutorial and become familiar with the server.

What used to happen is that after you completed the tutorial quiz, you clicked a sign that gave these to you. Why not do it like that again, so that it's even more incentive to do the tutorial?

I would have liked a set of stone tools when I joined, but it was not really that big of deal. I was able to get my own in just a few minutes.

Im usually always doing that with people anyways. I'll give somebody a Unbreaking diamond pick. An axe, some potatos, and a few thousand meebles to do as they please.

It kinda bites me in the rear when I do since I find my self a little on the meeble-less side after.

But I dont care about meebles all that much.

Yeah I remember when I'd do the tutorial and get a few gold bars and some armour or something like that. Those were the days

I think we need to discuss more on this, but I definitely think that the idea that you get tools after completing the tutorial is a good one (//modesty). Moving to Under Consideration!
