Introduction:

Hi! I am Darren but most of you know me as Vortex or VortexLegand198. I am 14 years old and I am still in school well secondary because I am not sure what you call it in America. Outside of Meepcraft I take part in many different activities such as Football, Cycling and playing in local gaming tournaments. I am currently studying for my GCSE’s in school. This means that I haven’t been on as much but we are getting a 6 month break, so I thought I would go back and play some meep!, and other things I do in school is on Tuesdays I stay in school till 5pm for my computer programming class. In my free time, Meepcraft is my favorite server that I play on a regular basis. I participate in the community, forums, and chatting with the community over skype and TeamSpeak. I am the current owner of the new town “Athens” in beta. Being a higher donator rank, I feel I have the potential to help out other players because I have a pretty noticeable chat colour. I love the community and am so grateful to be surrounded by great friends of the community that support me through my days of school.


Why you should be Helper?
I think I have 3 strong abilities on Meep and they are :

Experience ~

Being a Helper on other servers has boost my confidence and I feel that I have a lot of memories and knowledge in being a staff member, because I know the commands, I know how staff works on other servers and I think I could adapt quickly to a new environment , and I feel I did a decently good job as a staff member before on other servers. And I also own my own private server and there is something like 20 of my irl friends that be on there and I know it is hard work keeping them quite and calm sometimes. I feel my strongest area in terms of commands is Towns Alpha and Beta.


Dedication ~

I have dedicated most of my free time to Meepcraft because of its outstanding community and aspects that make it my favorite server. I put Meepcraft in front of all other servers. Dedication is a huge part of being a popular and noticed member on the server. I do realize that I wasn’t very active at all for some parts of the last month dew to my GCSE studies, and I apologize for that. Although that statement is true, I feel that my activity from our break has been very well improved ,this has given me more understanding of the server and its new changes like the New Shop and New spawn.


Work Ethic ~

I have never been a staff member on meepcraft and I feel that my ability to complete players requests is pretty good but I am not sure about modreqs. I know a lot about Meepcraft and the expectations in being a staff member from some of my good friends, and feel that I have the potential to fulfil the role with them as a fellow staff member. I personally think that I am ready to be a new staff member and I think I will be able to accept the changes fairly quickly.

I think I am very active on teamspeak and in game but I have one main weakness and that is forum activity because I don’t really have that many exciting times on meep and I keep thinking I have nothing to talk about on forums so I don’t really use I only look through them like every few days but I don’t really post but I do understand being a staff member you do have to use the forums an equal amount so I will certainly be improve my forum activity.

Conclusion:

I feel confident in taking this role because I have gotten a lot more mature over the months and I think that I am now 14 that I am ready to take on the responsibilities of being a staff member.

-1, you were just banned in the beginning of November for towny theft, assistant abuse. Your application was weak overall and nothing in it popped out that made me feel you'd be a natural fit in staff. You did not list weaknesses, which I am assuming is a mistake, which shows a general lack of effort on making sure you have the proper things before you submit them.

I would spend the next 2 or 3 months working on things that you may feel helps you stand out from the applicant pack, learn what a helper does by observing them, and then work on a much better application, content wise.

I haven't seen you much in-game or on forums.
Activity is something staff are known for. Get yours up!
The app was a little short, and not much emphasis on why you should be chosen above everyone else.
