Hello everyone! It's been an amazing few weeks since the launch of Towny Extreme. Originally we launched with PvP enabled, however this was disabled due to spawn camping. To accomplish the goal of being Towny Extreme, a number of changes are coming. Due to the nature of these changes, we have taken the time to allow people to prepare for the upcoming changes. /warp Extreme To start, the ability to visit /warp Extreme while in the Extreme overworld and Nether is being disabled. The purpose of this is to encourage more people to leave their town borders into a PvP enabled zone as well as constructing infrastructure between towns. This will still work when you are in a Dungeon. In addition, you will be able to craft an item which sends you back to /warp extreme. The warp will be disabled on Saturday, April 18th. Nether Roof Due to the inherent need to travel outside of towns, the ability to get on the Nether Roof creates an easy way to avoid both detection on the dynamic map and also any possible dangers associated with the Nether. Rather than disabling this outright, instead you will take damage while up there. (Queue viperfan running across the nether roof spamming healing potions) This change will be made on Saturday, April 18th. tfly Tfly is being retained as a feature of Towny Extreme. The overall goal of Towny Extreme is its difficulty, but this is not factions. Players are not to be in a constant state of PvP. Constant danger inside of your own town forces all towns to be treats as faction bases rather than places of residence. Collecting resources and raiding will be the times when you are in danger. Death Grace Upon a player's death and initial join of the server, they will receive 10 minutes of invulnerability. This invulnerability will be automatically disabled when they attempt to attack anyone else or access containers. PvP inside of towns will be reevaluated after Towny Wars have been added.
