Town Upkeep & Plot Types

First of all town upkeep is probably the largest source of where money goes to in the economy, most likely over 1 million a day, if town upkeep were lowered by 2.5 each town "rank" (e.g Settlement=65, Hamlet=62.5, Village=60, Town=57.5, Metropolis=47.5 (Possibly even 45)). For some
Towns it would just mean more money, other may lower their taxes and allow new players to get a better start and thus more likely to become an active player. My second point is custom plot types. They can pretty much have custom taxes (/t set plottype new <Name> <Taxes><Price>) For example if I had some costal plots that I wanted for higher taxes I could simple type /t set new plottype costal 100 2500 and then just type /plot set costal on the plot. If you have any questions on how these would work post below.

 

Im not sure where I place myself with this but I really like your suggestion, I love seeing people with new ideas for towny!

 

The smaller towns would be unable to compete, as the burden would rest on the owner to make up the difference. -1

 

Good ideas, but with the current towny plugin these will not be possible. Denied.
