I think that we should add a new system involving the staff that in game that would show if the staff team are doing their jobs.
Make it be known I am not posting this to be mean or on a grudge I think that it would be useful is all
    (new command idea)
My idea is that when a modreq is accepted by a staff they should then after be sent a msg in chat they have to accept with /accept saying that the moderator did contact them and do their job.
The point of this is to make it so the staff isn't just a staff so they can do what they want but so their hard work is recorded and possibly posted on meepcraft forums for how many Modreq they solve.
And I know what could be thought at this point, what if the other moderators etc. beat one member to a modreq
I think it should be that the modreq cycle through the staff team like it will go to one staff member who is online and only them. and the next one would go to someone else kind of like a clock.

Sorry if I have inconvenienced and or upset anyone who reads this...

I know this idea is farfetched and stupid and its ok if you close it right away

Why would you post this if you don't even like it. Anyway, I like the idea, if it's easy to code, but otherwise, not worth the time.

As someone who was previously staff and assume that the system is still relatively the same, no.

First of all, modreq stats are already available to staff members. Adding it to the forums and making it public information would lead to stupid popularity contests and unnecessary competition between staff members, likely also causing people to start valuing quantity over quality which is not what you want.

Furthermore, I'd say that at least half the modreqs, at least when I was staff, were filed by people who promptly logged off or never answered. Having the user have to /accept would not only lead to issues with vindictive users not allowing the moderator to close the modreq but would also cause problems with people who were not online or were afk not being able to type it.

The modreq cycle is a silly idea as well because not all moderators/helpers can do all jobs at all times. What if the cycle decided it was your turn but you had to log off? You'd be unable to do so. It's better for moderators to be able to claim the modreqs as they can rather than having an arbitrary cycle placed upon them.

TL; DR: Not only is this unnecessary and pointless, it would make staff's job harder and generally not be beneficial to anyone in any way. -1.

I think all the staff do a very nice job. You can ask them more about the question if you don't understand what they are saying. I do not think this is needed.

This is already in the /modreq plugin, when you finish a ticket, you're supposed to type /done <request number>. It allows you to add a few words explaining what you did. This should be moved to completed, seeing as it's already implemented.

Secondly, why do you feel that modreq counts should be displayed on forums? Do you think that helping people is done for internet points, or for the sake of helping people?

(He means so if you file a modreq you can basically review your service and say yeah the mod helped you or no this mod sucked, not the mod command)

Oh, thanks. Then I'd say this is kind of useless when compared to the other issues facing Meep ATM. If someone has a problem with staff, they can report it. Seems like the whole "who can do the best gets recognised" would end up motivating staff to help people for prestige and not out of selflessness as it should be.

Also, this wouldn't be that great since trolls could just ruin the "review" of a staff member. And then there is the negative as a result of being the bearer of bad news. Overall, if you see a staff member not doing their job, just file a staff complaint.

The only use I see is for staff to review what they do and improve themselves. If you really want this, program it. I don't think it useful enough for the programmers to work on currently, but it's a nice touch if you care about it. Good luck!

If you want to review a staff member you can always go to the staff comments section. Other than that the person that you're helping usually says "thanks you helped me xd" or "wow you did not help me xd"

This suggestion has been denied because we believe that the benefit would not outweigh the level of development effort.
