The Dungeon Buildteam

Quick but cool idea:


Every week, the dungeon closes for a day. In that day there will be a large team of approved builders who will go into the dungeon and add new stuff and rooms. They could add anything really, as long as it makes sense. It could be a parkour challenge, a big room with nice decorations or a nether corrupted room filled with nether mobs and lots of chests. Maybe even something crazy like a rainbow room. This way there will always be something new to explore and discover.


Another idea: Add tiered chests. The more challenging a room, the higher tier. Higher tier chests will contain better items. It will go from tier 1 to 6. Tier 4, 5 and 6 will be enderchests instead of normal chests.
You can tell the tier of a chest because of particle effects surrounding it. (and also the enderchest)

 

I think that we could actually give the architects a real job, not just a title, and have them do this. This would be good for the citizens and it would benefit the architects.

It would be more fun, instead of killing mobs and trying to find chests. I could do with some parkour

Lol architect isn't just a title. They are always working on stuff from what I can tell but their builds don't just instantly appear. It takes more than a day or 2 to build a cool map therefore it's not noticed but there has been a lot the architects have done lately.

I feel like this would be difficult to do, especially daily. Do you have any suggestions to make it an easier workload on staff members? Maybe something like the reggles event from today could happen, where people had to design a fun and complicated room in a set amount of time.

 

I am all up for extra loot and fun items, but why is this really necessary? I think that the dungeon is fine the way it is. If you could tell me why you want this that would be great.

 

Well, why not give more people the opportunity to be an architect then?

Exactly, therefore they should be allowed to take part in more building jobs.
